They are uncomfortable to play against. Malzahn has the athletic talent on offense to fully run his gimmick scheme, which will put extreme focus on setting the edge and us tackling on the perimeter. Their blocking is solid, but most of the work is done with misdirection and option.
Malzahn never had special plans for those big games vs Saban. If anything, he made it even more simple, running four different plays out of the same exact look. But his schemes in regards to throwing the ball are very basic and Castellanos isn't the most talented thrower.
Their defense remains the same scrappy unit they had a year ago. They'll allow stuff, but we won't find ourselves finding big play after big play. I expect them to copy Floridas strategy.
It'll be a tough one to play. That's for sure.
