Trevor Darling: 5.88 40 (5.83 best), 5.52 20, 13 reps of 225, 365 squat, 264 power clean, 315 bench press, 24 vertical
Tyler Grimsley: 5.40 40 (5.34 best), 4.74 20, 25 reps of 225, 405 squat, 308 power clean, 385 bench press, 24.5 vertical

Could you tell who is the 4 star or 0 star Prospect by these numbers. Grimsley is going to be a beast just watch.

LOL

Go take a look at Corey King's numbers and tell me how much of a beast on the field he is.

All true freshman numbers are inflated before they actually hit a real weight room. That being said, if J Young has the instinct to play MLB, he's going to be a monster.

Juwon Young: 4.75 40 (4.69 best), 4.55 20, 23 reps of 225, 440 squat, 332 power clean, 385 bench press, 32.5 vertical

That's my thought. Can we hire his HS weigh coach please? What the heck they feed them boys in GA? Go back up there and see if there are any more like him.

you must have never play High School ball. Alot of Players depending on the school and coaches are very strong. we had about 6 players on my team benching 300lb and one player benching 400lb. thats why some kids can come in right away and be studs but numbers really dont matter. Myles Jack the All American Freshman was only benching 230 when he came to UCLA. so that should tell you something.

No OL should be benching 225 only 9 times. Even if he just got here....pathetic.

Wow Yearby is a strong dude for rb... he has more reps in bench that most of the fresh and look at his squat

so the two new DT's we are depending on hertleou and wyche squat less than 300lbs? 264 squat has to be a mistake

Paranos, johnson isnt doing 500 like it is nothing. He bent his knees on that rep. Not even close to hamstring parallel let alone quad parallel. I squated for like that ar 545 for 15 reps lower than than that at as a 160 pound safety

Calvin Heurtelou: 5.66 40 (5.57 best), 5.17 20, 33 reps of 225, 264 squat, 26.5 vertical
Michael Wyche: Did not test in running, did 35 reps of 225, 275 squat, 435 bench press, 22 vertical

These squats are wrong, no?...

Some of the numbers don't add up. Sometimes you can't go by that.

You ever watch Brady play. He has little man feet for a big guy.

Harris, McCray and Smith numbers don't make much sense to me. Neither does wyche.

Can't put much stock into these things either. Very early and guys make big gains in every department in a college weight program.

I remember Hurns was said to have ran 4.7-4.8s way before. Guy ran 4.5 at combine.

I won't put much stock into this. On the field and in the gym are two different animals.

We're f*cked.

Wyche putting up 225 35 times would put him tied for first at the 2014 NFL combine. He's got elite upper body strength, hope his squat number is wrong lol

Go Canes

Laser timed 40s are more accurate then hand timed 40s

Some of those numbers have to be kilos. As pointed out in the WEZ you don't even use 4 as a number anyway

Yes sir, thank you, I understand that.

What I'm saying here (which is reflected by these numbers) is that there are a lot of slow/non-explosive kids coming into the program. 4.8 and above is actually VERY pedestrian...regardless of how it is timed.
