As OP and a few others have stated, of course it pains me to see losses but I do see long term and not just the short term. I will never ever in a single game situation want my canes to lose. It isn't possible. I get so much enjoyment from seeing them win. However, if we somehow win 8 games, the mediocrity continues for years to come. Sometimes you have to cut off your finger to save your hand. Some of you all have to see where we are coming from. And please don't start cussing me and saying I'm not a fan. I'm a fan that expects UM to be great. No okay with a 5th year coach who had done absolutely nothing. Losses are the only thing that could remotely save this program. And no, I don't want them. Want and need are a different thing. I want championships. And Al golden cannot bring that and thus losses must come. It's the only way. So I agree with the OP BUT I will never cheer against Miami. If we lose, it was going to happen without my support or not.
