Butch won't happen, maybe should have after Coker was let go. Thing depressing to me is after only 4 games I highly question the hire of Handy Manny. If he goes 6-6 or worse can we not fire him in this day and age? NFL teams do it all the time after 1 season.

I wonder what his buyout is? You'd think a guy with no experience and who was the third choice for Temple wouldn't have much. But we have Blake James who I believe is still writing Al Golden Checks.

I'm not calling them respectable. I'm saying they're as respectable as they can be. They're not going to be a great team any more than FAU or Rice. With these smaller programs, there's a whole lot more than just coaching. In addition to the school administration and coaching staff, there's the fact that no CUSA team is attracting talent that has the option of a P5 school.

I'm not going to sit here defending Butch. All I ever said was if we are going to suck, then if we had Butch at least we could put to rest all of the BBB speculation. That is neither an endorsement of BBB or an indictment of Butch. For the record, I just want to be back, I don't care who takes us there.

He left them full for four years after he moved on. Just like he did at Miami TWICE

Howard started it. Butch was Jimmys talent finder and built the roster that won Jimmys ring. He built the teams Erickson won with. He built Cookers team. FWIW if you think his 71-51 record is what defines Butch, than you don’t know **** about Miami football. FWIW he took us off of probation 35 ships down and put us BACK. The “BACK” you don’t know anything about.
