Ok, Jon.Well, why don't you guys focus on things that Richt has actually done that are worth criticizing instead of getting sidetracked on a guy he didn't even bring into the program?

My guy; how about this is worth criticizing! Why the fck do u think we’re screwed for the QB position for the class of 19? Why the fck do u think UGA fans were in an uproar over Cam and Deshaun? He’s doing the same chit over here, as well. And IDGAF if it’s Mark or Jon. They r doing the same thing in 2020 as well, focusing on Richt’s nephew. Bad evals. Thank God Jarren was committed to UK & and not a Texas or OSU.
I agree.Because why? Recruiting sites are Nostradamus? Tarzans many times play like Janes.
Similar comp% but Perry definitely opens the offense more due to his ability to hit more throws. I mean just ******* watch any of the bubble screens - Perry consistently allows the WRs to pick up YAC, while Rosier ******* throws behind the WRs just about every time. And obviously Rosiers noodle arm doesn't come close to Perry's with the distance throws or 10yrd outs and ****.
Perry throwing 50% Comp is a better QB than Rosier throwing 50% comp. Thats the reason I don'twant Rosier to play. Perry being bad is still ******* better than Rosier.
For reals, Rell. Where would we be right now?
One issue is I see is that Richt has totally mismanaged the situation. I feel like Richt has put way to much responsibility on Jon’s shoulders. Jon has no business coaching quarterbacks at the high school level. Inexperience coupled with the fact that Perry was as raw and undeveloped as they come coming out of high school, well that’s not really a recipe for success. Perry is the type that needs to frequent qb camps and get coached by a guru in order to develop properly, and he’s getting the bear minimum right now. As young and boneheaded as he may appear, an athlete as talented and gifted as Perry needs to be groomed by top tier coaching, and instead he is being subjected to glorified nepotism.Hoping to get some legit discussion going. It seems like Rick and son really started getting destroyed by us for our offensive failures after Perry took over. Fans are almost exclusively claiming that Perry’s struggles are a result of Rick’s busted offense, lousy play calling, and his son’s incompetence.
Prior to Perry taking over, most fans just talked about how much Malik sucked and how he was killing the offense almost singlehandedly. Malik has played in that same busted offense and failed too.
Why don’t the fans give Malik the same benefit of the doubt that they give Perry? If Rick is killing Perry with his busted offense and play calling, then why does everyone just say Malik sucks and not give him the same explanation for failure that they give Perry?
That's not true at all, when the Offense fails it's Richt's fault because this is his archaic offense. They have a very similar completion percentage this year. Yes Perry looks prettier throwing for 50%, but I’m just wondering why two QBs struggling under the same exact coach get treated so incredibly differently.
When Malik fails it’s all his fault; when Perry fails it’s all Rick’s fault.
Bro; I’ve been voicing my frustration a lot here, but nothing will turn me away from my Canes. However, I expected head scratchers from Shannon and Golden. Why? B/c both were first yr head coaches at a major program.
The head scratchers from Richt w his recruiting techniques, play calling, missing position of needs is ultra frustrating b/c he should know better. U just came from a powerhouse conference and a major University and doing dumb chit (e.g Malik still stinking on making the simple slant pass and no one in the QB room near ready, losing to weak teams, GOING AFTER ONE QB FOR 2019!). Frustrating af!
I agree with you. The thing that has been killing me since the LSU game is how bad the O-Line has been in year 3. I wasn't expecting a dominate unit this year but not being able to do basic stuff constantly is what's ****es me off the most.
They’re throwing at about the same completion rate this year.
I agree with everything you said except about kaaya. You actually believe he scared Kaaya off to the draft?Great post
That's essentially my point with most of my posts,
Whenever someone tries to point this out we are made out to be Rosier fans...
Is richt elite? Idk, prob not. But he didn't win 75% of his games playing the 2nd best QB on his team.. something about Perry is off and richt wouldn't lose games on purpose unless Perry was giving him reason to doubt his ability.
I think we'll see Perry, but I feel like Perry must have not prepped enough for UVA and didn't study enough. He trusts Malik more on the road against a good opponent to settle down the offense. Hardly something that is out of line or ridiculous
The Rosier hate on here is ridiculous. He's a 3 star player that has no business ever taking a snap here. He beat out Allison, Perry, scared off kaaya in his senior year, Weldon, sherrifs, and Williams
Out of 7 QB's he's been the best one. Is that his fault? No. We simply need someone to come and take over the reigns
Dude was clutch and led us to 10 wins for the first time in 15 years. Is he gonna nlow a game or two? Probably but he'll also come up huge out of nowhere and I trust him way more than Perry to finish the year out and roll off some wins
I know some fans are okay with losing to develop Perry but that's ridiculous, we're Miami and those same fans would riot the coach when we lost a game. Every game we should win and even if Rosier plays ****** but pulls out the "W" then that's all that matters and I'm with it
Come on my dude you're smarter than this. Rosier has thrown 515 passes under the Richt regime of which he has missed on 239 of them. Perry has thrown only 89 passes in his career and missed on 39 of them. If he had 4 more completions he'd be over 60% completion percentage. So if just four of the eight passes that wr dropped in the fsu game we're caught is now no longer considered an inaccurate passer? They literally have the same number of completed passes this season and Perry and played less and attempted less passes then Rosier. So based on Rosiers entire body of work and even his work this season Perry is the more accurate passer and it's not really up for debate. Not even going to bother with any of the other stuff because I don't won't to pile on the kid but he shouldn't be the qb here just like Jr shouldn't be the qb coach and his pops shouldn't be the OC.
Simple answer: because some in our fan base just don’t like malik. And tbh got carried away with the 10-0 start. But when we started losing Malik’s defencencies were GLARING. Then it became if you try to rationalize why we truly struggled against and loss in the Pitt game you were a malik apologist. I’ve been called this many times. But along with Perry the same problems exist within this O. Missed assignments up front and some guys just getting whipped. If u watch a game and look at our run plays that get screwed up it seems to be a diff guy getting beat/ missing a assignment. It’s always been that for me. I could always live with 12 being 12 because I knew he is a guy who is good enough to win..or let me rephrase, not make our situation worse because of the defencencies we have up front...I never thought perry was the answer rn because he’s not the same runner as 12 even though for some reason the announcers act as if 5 is Lamar Jackson ..and just his raw lack of experience. But Perry arm talent wise blows 12 out of the water..I think when fans saw 12 miss throws they automatically sumized 5 would make that throw. Not taking in account he has to get to tthat read 1st to be able to pull the triggerHoping to get some legit discussion going. But didnt the coaches basically yank his offer..soooo their eval was correct ...Just think; we were thhhhhis close to our QB room being Rosier, Perry, Weldon, and Sitkowski b/c of Richt & Richt’s eval. Yiiiiiiiikes
To further bash Richt and mini Richt..it’s like a insecure guy that keeps bringing up his exWhy are you guys still talking about Sitkowski?
