Hearing some rumors about Bo Scarbrough to UM.

Maybe this might be the answer to why Bo is looking around........http://www.rollbamaroll.com/2014/1/27/5349996/2014-roster-lookahead-the-number-crunch

Interdasting. Good find. And jibes with what many suspected, Bama seems pretty overloaded at some positions, and maybe overloaded overall. Amazing that they are that tight that they could send a kid like this on his way, but the word has been that they wanted him at LB because they are so deep at RB. If he's really set on playing RB, and Bama is that tight on spots, then there could be some real interest here.

I can kind of buy that but at the end of the day, no way Bama pushes out arguably the best athlete in the country.

Unless they dont consider him to be that critical to their class. I mean if they have other needs more pressing, its not inconceivable. If we have ONE spot left, and it was between TV, and the #1 WR in the country, who would you pick?

Makes sense theory, however if it came down to TV or Ermon Lane...we would probably push out someone like Jimmy Mayes, if we are being honest.

LOL, fair enough, but does Bama have a "Mayes" to pushout?

We wouldn't push out a kid this close to signing day, Golden is better than that.

If I had to choose between signing Valentine or Lane, there is no question that I would choose Valentine.

We are in south FL where elite WRs grow on trees, elite DTs not so much.

LULZ at any program pushing Bo out. And Saban never lies either right? He would never tell Bo he'd let him play RB and then switch him to LB if that's what he wanted to do right?

Recruiting is not a zero-sum game, and I don't think anyone in their gourd is declining Lane or Valentine...not even the Dolphins. Bottom line is Scarborough isn't getting turned down or pushed out. They might be telling him things he doesn't like to hear, but he could sign his LOI on signing day and they would accept.

Who was that TE that Gorlden pushed out a couple years ago right on the eve of signing day? He was committed for awhile and then we ran out of space and he got the boot and was left scrambling. I think he was from North Florida and the fans never really liked him as a commit.

Yeah, and then he ended up at FSU and won a NC ring.
