N'Kosi Perry can't get on campus soon enough.
Why? The minute he loses to fsu or has a bad game you ****ers are going to turn on him. Just like duke and now kaaya.
Players have noticed all the positivity, too. Let Kaaya explain how it felt to go to a game knowing there would be a banner flying overhead.
“It’s hard when I know any bad decision I make on the field is going to affect my coach,” Kaaya said. “If I throw a pick, or if I do something that’s going to lead us losing this game, there’s going to be a banner up at our next home game. We’re 3-0 and I’m going into the Cincinnati game and there’s a banner. I’m just thinking, ‘I hope we don’t lose this game. I hope I play well so my Twitter mentions aren’t going to have, ‘I hate coach Golden’ or ‘Fire coach Golden.’
“We put in all this work and there’s a banner saying, ‘Bring back Butch.' ... 'Throw it in the tank for the season.’ Geez you’re giving up on us, too? That part right there, it was hard to take at times as a player. It was a bit nerve-wracking.”
How the **** is the dude who hands his tooth to the trainer and goes back in with a shoulder injury not "tough"
He seems to have what folks call "performance anxiety".
He will probably own virtually every passing record in the books by the time he's done and nothing to show for it.
I don't see him as a rallying type. I did find it interesting that he was a captain for the first time. That should tell you something about the guy - first time he's been elected captain.
Listening to Gino Torretta on WQAM the other day made me realize that Kaaya might not be our guy.
Classic UM QBs are tough, confident, gritty, and smart.
Brad is smart - but i don't think he has that UM toughness/grittiness to him.
He's a Cali pretty boy, actresses son, who likes soccer (explains the softness) a little too much for my liking.
You do realize we had a couple of great Cane QBs that were from Cali right?
Our QB gets shaken over Twitter mentions. We knew he wasn't mentally tough, we just didn't want to believe it.

Nobody turned on duke? Check the facts dumb ***. People was calling him soft, people were saying he chokes in big games, were saying he always fumbles when he had only about 5 in his career. A lot of people was ready for him to go to the nfl because yearby was better than cook.

I watched a 5 minute highlight reel on him yesterday and he's already doing things Kaaya can't do. He has a natural ability that can't be taught and I think he starts his freshman year.
I love how he feels the pressure, avoids it, and keeps his eyes downfield. There were a few plays where he could've run for 10-15 yards, but saw a guy open last second and threw it for 30 yards. He can run, but doesn't look to run immediately. His legs are going to win us some games.
