Hard Rock gets World Cup bid

I am just going to say this from an outside perspective. From CA with love.

I did go to a game with the old
girl. Honeymoon of my now ex wife. 04, 05

Clemson BS at home in the 4th quarter by about 10.

I was on the Cane's side by the team and saying I apologize on being the cooler coming out from California. S*** was funny.

But....

I have no problem with Hard Rock. Yeah, it's a half hour drive at least from Coral gables but it's a pro stadium. I went to the Gator game in 13 and I know when you don't have sun protection. 4th quarter that game smell like a f****** keg.
At least we won.

Went out again and what 2016 or 17 when Miami came back and beat FSU at Hard Rock.

It had been updated by then with more coverage from the Sun.

Stadium is actually very cool. Most pro, college and even last night when I went to Primus, you basically can't drink after halftime. Means no more f****** beers or alcohol unless you're sneaking it in.

The stadium's fine I'll be happy if my Miami gets their own stadium like the Aztecs apparently just did crushing Qualcomm from the San Diego Chargers.

But..

When the Cane's finally come back. Finish top ten even just 2 years in a row........Fans at home games will be filling up Hard Rock. People will be flying out there are Canes fans all over this country. A home stadium that only seats 35 to 40,000 people will not be able to contain it.

Nice spin, but do u actually think this actually will happen? Not referring to the economy, which is a benefit for the city, I’m talking about The U. I think there’s this weird conception that whatever benefits HRS & Ross somehow helps us. Let me be perfectly clear; HRS only benefits Ross & Ross only. Any event that’s thrown there, including our home games benefits him. It doesn’t help recruiting, it doesn’t help revenue, & I’m pretty sure we’re not going to see any Hurricanes banners around there.
Spin? Really dude?

if germany plays there and wins, i will go absolutely ape**** in here

Edit: This is why I ***** with you. You keep it real and honest. This doesn’t benefit the university at all. When the Canes are done playing, the Dolphins remove everything related to the Canes from that stadium. Let’s just say, I use to have an office at that stadium and can confirm this to be true.

That being said, to your point, it’s dope for the city and will be a huge buzz down here. Hopefully, Inter Miami is buzzing with new stadium by then.

All I’m saying bro. It’s great for the city, happy for the city & my city too, but none of this chit benefit the team I root for. Maybe it’ll help Dolphin fans so Ross can big bank on his team like Kronke has done for The Rams w/ all this extra rev he receiving, but again, in regards to our mutual team in Coral Gables, this chit don’t move me or us.

I am hearing from someone that's in Hollywood. Brother is a producer, of interesting s*** that goes to Netflix and all these kind of things.

They have their office at Harpo studios...

Apparently the belief in LA.

Is that Sean the head coach of the Rams. Is a decent coach and LA basically bought the team to have a championship. Most of interLA is down for the Lakers and the Dodgers.

Rams, yes they moved back. Don't quite have the overall love that there are two teams I mentioned.

Basically they are a paid for a championship

Bro, first off, u know I f’s w/ u. I didn’t mean to come off or make it sound like it was personal. All I’m saying is HRS/Sun Life have been throwing sick events for a min & we’ve yet to see any dividends from it.

Fact is, we’ve been playing in a NFL stadium for a min, right? Same stadium had a SB in it a couple of times, right? It’s held a major tennis event since 2019, right? HRS/ Sun Life been getting exposure, my guy. Yet, that haven’t stopped the negative recruiting about where we play, nor have we seen a dime from all these events. So I’m not sure why I or any fan be excited for our team regarding the WC being played at the stadium that Ross owns. As I said when the remodel happened, the Aqua blue seats is a clear indicator that it’s his & his stadium alone.

I’m happy for the City of Miami; I hope revenue & job opportunities expand in & around the entire area…but this appears more of city pride matter vs. a Hurricane matter.

I’m cranky b/c they switched my custom Prestos w/ Ultraboost!

Speaking of prestos, I’ve been eyeing them and love the design. Never have owned a pair but I hear great things. Thinking about diving in but not sure what colorway. I’m an AM1 kind of guy but prestos are slick.

I think at this point in the game we’re just trying to look at our stadium situation with the glass half full.

Prestos r the OG of these new silhouettes. Man, I was ecstatic when they re-released. Comfortable & fashionable for just casual street or beach ware. And super affordable

Rell, is right . And so is insane in the hurricane.

Your call name is a f****** mouthful.

The stadium is what it is. The surounding!!
City of Miami, and yes Hard ****. Best get ready.

My pro team is actually the Dolphins. Tua is not going to s*** like most of the Alabama projects.

But.. the Cane's may have finally gotten their s*** together again. And will run over that stadium.

Watch it happen, don't be surprised.

Kinda like the Spring game at Lockhart benefitting, to some degree at least, the de facto owner lease holder...

hmmmmmmmm.....

this is the biggest and most watched sport event in the known universe. Don‘ give a f@ck who the owner of the venue is.., this is massive for the the city and the vision of what The U is presenting to attract elite players and investors.

and f@ck all those trying to clown us for a multiple sport stadium.. yeah F1, Jay Z, Rolling Stones, Metallica, Rolling Loud, Eagles, U2, Miami Open (5th Largest Tennis event in the planet), Madonna, Monster Jam, Super Bowl, Canelo…

yeah right let them hate.. the U plays at probably the trendiest venue in the world. Yet again, this is massively positive.
Finally someone that understands.

Bravo!!

Everything else might be debatable but this elevates Hard Kock Stadium's cache as a world class venue even moar so that ain't a bad thing. It kinda make the UiF type of mouthbreefers that like to pretend we still play at an antiquated Joe Robbie seem like idiots. The younger demographics see the place hosting F1 and futbol and Super Bowls and National Championship games along with how developed the outside is too.
With your new naming convention, I'm not certain I can re-enter the facility ever again.

Ruined.

This is why we can't have nice things.

With that said, instead of Fly The Banners, we shall now fly blimp sized ****** to display our disgust with the state of Miami Football.
