You wanted to give Maurice Hagens carries over Gus. Everyone has guys they like & don't. I get it - I'm the same way. But that seems a bit extreme.

What year's did each RB achieve what you posted above.

As for my opinion, I'll say it again. Im mystified. Gus was doodoo while at UM. If he wasn't, he'd have gotten more time and wouldn't have transferred.

Gus - Pitt - 2013, VT - 2014, UVA & Duke - 2016
Walton - Pitt - 2016, UVA - 2015 & 16, NC St - 2016

Here's Gus & Cam's stats from their first 2 years at Miami:

Gus - 127 att - 687 yds - 5.4 ypc - 11 TD's
Cam - 111 att - 581 yds - 5.2 ypc - 5 TD's

Is Cam doodoo?

If you think Gus looked bad when you watched him - that's all good. Everyone has their opinions. But the reasons you're giving about the coaches not giving him carries isn't really how things happened.
 
We have good fullbacks, but they don't seem to ever get a lot of yardage here.
