NFL Gruden out!

Many people are on here talking about it was stupid to put that in an email. How about it was flat out stupid to say it period. I’m not sure why people are acting so surprised either. There’s a ton of coaches who are closet racists making millions off of black athletes.

Correction, there are tons of black athletes making millions of their coach. White or black.

DO ME A FAVOR AND NAME THOSE RACIST WHITE COACHES.

Dude you have no clue. People in professional environments don’t put that kind of stuff in writing. You must push broom for a living.
Haha don’t project. It’s no virtue to live in fear of what others will put up with. He wasn’t sending a professionals email. He was email a friend on his friends work account. It’s a symptom of our low morality culture that we take witch hunts over substantive virtue.

The tire stuff was out of line and definitely seems racist. I really don’t know if he is a racist or not, I don’t know what’s in his heart, and I’m not going to get into that

The other stuff, calling Goodell the *** slurs and all that, it’s still pretty common when guys get together. I’m talking about guys of all political parties, liberals, conservatives, all races. It’s still pretty prevalent I’m not saying it’s right, but it’s prevalent in conversation, but not in written communication.
This is exactly right. Worse stuff than that is said between those lines, in the locker room and between friends every single day.

I’m gonna take a very unpopular side here. I don’t have a problem with anything anyone says in private, bc it’s in private. I know for a fact worse things have been said about me in private conversation. He was just an idiot to have done it over work email.

You make some comments with racial connotations...you live to fight another day. You come after the alphabet people and its over for you.

Somewhere Dave Chappelle is smiling. The timing of this situation is were as if Gruden and Chappell we’re in cahoots and planned it. Lol

If he resigns it means he wants to get away from the spotlight, doubt he wants to get right back into coaching.

Gruden frequently calls (those he thinks are) liars "RUBBER LIPS"... it's not meant racially. And the Michelin comment was related to that. I have no idea if the other stuff was just as innocent, it doesnt sound it; but just reporting what I have heard several times about the Tires thing.

His best shot would’ve been back into the fold as an analyst/commentator on the worldwide leader, but they won’t touch him because they’re more PC than universities.

Fox Sports will back up the Brinks truck for Him.

But anyway ******* that overrated con man, He hasn't won **** since He got rid of Wyche's & Dungy's players.

Maybe they will, that could be somewhere he would go. It’s a good thought. But I think it would have to be after a period of atonement of several months maybe even a year. Who knows, we’ll see.

And I have to be honest, I’ve never liked him. Ever.

I thought he was an overrated con man when he was with the Bucs and I honestly think he lucked into that Super Bowl win. I know that may sound crazy to some people, I just don’t think he’s as smart or as good of a football coach as he thinks he is. I could give you the reasons why I think he’s one of the least deserving Super Bowl winners ever, but I’m just not gonna sidetrack the thread like that.

Professional environments don't allow you to go on air with a cigar and Henny bottle do they?

Lol it's the hypocrisy man.

Sure, he should get fired in the current professional world. We're just saying the woke landscape sucks~~~~

A lot of this alphabet woke stuff sucks, I’m with you there, I’m not into the pronouns or any of that shlt, but it takes a special kind of stupid to do what he did. Then you have to ask yourself the question, what other stupid shlt does he do that we don’t know about?

Well Freeze already has another opportunity, Meyer is still coaching the Jags, I don’t think there’s any controversy involving Herman is there (?), and I don’t know what the fūck happened to Petrino but he’s dog meat. Nobody wants him.

As far as Gruden, he’ll probably get back into coaching at some point in the near future, he might go do an analyst thing at Alabama or something like that but no way he settled for that his ego is too big. And I don’t see him as being a college guy.

I should have been more specific and said a high-profile CFB gig, but that's my point...Miami wouldn't sniff these guys.

Look, he's never been my favorite, but let's not overlook the fact that he built such a good team with the Raiders that even Bill Callahan was able to Coker them to the Super Bowl after Gruden left. Dude took a journeyman QB like Rich Gannon and had that thing firing on all cylinders. He would've taken them to the Super Bowl himself if not for the infamous "tuck rule."

Yeah, he inherited a lot with the Bucs and he's not one of the all time greats, but let's be fair here.

I agree with you, it does beg the question. I am a little on the fence of "did he think the was legally protected from the emails"? That's the only thing I can think of, that or just pure stupidity.

I don’t know I think they would, for the right guy. For example someone like an Urban Meyer I could see getting in. The question is, he wouldn’t want to come down here. I can almost guarantee it. This is not his kind of place. He’s a Midwest guy, Jacksonville as far south as he would go in Florida. At least on the East Coast.

Even if we had boosters that would pay the money, which we don’t. It wouldn’t be a PC question it would be a money question. That’s it - simple as that.

Gruden is garbage anyway, and he wouldn’t settle for this job anyway even if the money was there.

The guys that Miami would sniff are the guys that we could afford. It’s pretty much simple as that.

It’s a money issue. It’s a booster issue.

The people at Miami with clout that care about football would definitely try to get winners, but you have to have the resources. And these people are over Manny I can assure you of that. Frenk will have a little input, and Blake James better be fired at the end of the season. If not there’s going to be a revolt.

Somehow, Dan Snyder still owns a football team. Its interesting to see how dominos can get rolling when a coach does something bad, yet when an owner allows something even worse to happen, all the NFL does is release a small statement and make a wack penalty towards Snyder.

Unsurprisingly, because thats how karma works, they found out whats in the tweet above. And dont tell me Snyder doesnt know about that.

Oh man I don’t need to be fair with John Gruden, what has he done for me?

I mean I don’t know why people talk about him that much on this board that guy is not going to go college coaching. And especially not down here. That’s ****ing in the wind.
