He’s definitely an idiot to put that in an email in a work environment.

I knew 20 years ago which was well before 2011 that you couldn’t put shlt like that in an email.

Not that I would be tempted to put any racist stuff, but the locker room talk, I’m not gonna lie, yes I’d be tempted to say misogynistic things or tell ghey jokes, most guys of all races engage in that. But I’ve never put it in writing. Why? Because I like my paycheck.

Smart ones don’t put it in emails or tweets or anything where you could lose your job.

Exactly..that’s called having some type of self awareness. But this dude north of 50 😂..I understand a HS or college or he’ll even a 21-27 year olds saying insensitive ****..but John a mid life male😂😭..so u can’t tell me doesn’t communicate or have these thoughts anymore..my only question is who outed him👀😂

Man, I'll fight for black injustices all day & and I'll advocate for the man from small beginnings.

But this? What the ****. Gruden was out of line. But he was not so much out of line for him to resign. To me, it was a thing to look back on and say "that's dumb", but not enough to fire a legend.

I hope you know I don't mean no disrespect in this; just shooting from the hip.

The scary part is, this dumbfūck was writing this shlt it’s like three years ago - 2018 I think they said.

I mean a bunch of anonymous blowhards on a sports message board know better than a guy making mega millions.

I think the problem is a lot of these coaches don’t have any kind of professional management sense, they’ve never taken a management course, nor do they have any kind of continuing education for communication in their area of employ.

People can talk shlt all they want about large Fortune 100 corporations, but one thing they do right, especially as you move up the ladder, they train you to communicate.

But even common sense, just reading the news every once in a while, will teach you you don’t put stuff like this in writing. A joke I might tell you in private about a priest, a rabbi, and a tranny walking into a bar, is not something I would put into an email or a tweet or a text.
 
Many people are on here talking about it was stupid to put that in an email. How about it was flat out stupid to say it period. I’m not sure why people are acting so surprised either. There’s a ton of coaches who are closet racists making millions off of black athletes.

We also have to admit that the typical NFL/College Coach is a glorified gym teacher. Most aren't overly bright, most aren't well read, a fair number of them are the prototypical meathead jock. It takes a dumbass to do and say this crap IN AN EMAIL. It takes a dumbass to do and say this crap IN AN EMAIL IN 2018. Miami dodged a bullet by not hiring this guy. Things like this would have easily come to light, because imagine Gruden using his Miami.edu email address to send stupid crap. You know he would have.

Lmao legend ?? Nahh. Idk what you do for a living..but if I sent a professional email like this about another co worker..or in this example a superior..I’d be fired easily..and I’m sure most of everyone here would…do I think this makes Gruden a racist..for me I’d give him the benefit of the doubt of it being bad jokes..but this dude is in his 50s or 60s in a leadership role and majority of his roster are minorities.. so he deserved to be fired.. he has no excuse
