Of course he got railroaded, but that happens when the program is on probation.
There is no need to railroad a kid just because you are on probation. If Grace, as his lawyer suggests, provided all documentation that the vehicles were rented legitimately, then this is a travesty.
Your missing the point...
They all lied and they are still not being completely honest.
Why do you think the rental agency mentioned something about test drives? Because the one incident was not the only incident. They can prove they legitimately paid for one usage, but the others? well lets just call them test drives.
What do you think your boy was saying when he said we will all pay them back? Because he knows that not everything was paid for.
If this was as simple as a purchase that you have receipts for then there would be no lies and there would be no hanging chads.
Another issue I see is that Jermaine utilized a criminal defense attorney. Those guys are not in the business of proving innocence. They are only in the business of bringing in doubt that your 100% guilty. You see his lawyer is crying about having to prove his innocence and admits to him lying. Well a defense attorney is going to be ok with not being completely forthcoming so you don't incriminate yourself anymore. Problem is that logic gets you kicked off a team by college standards and when the U is also on probation its a guaranteed dismissal.
Also there is some memorabilia side to this that no one is talking about.
