Serious question, how is it any different then contacting Al to fire Dorito or contacting Shalala to fire Al?

I deleted the thread. You are free to say whatever you want about the Genron/Champagnat issue, and we won't censor it (assuming you respect other posters). But interfering with an individual's personal life is not something I want this board to be associated with.

Some will disagree with this decision, and you can say so right here. But this policy applies to anyone and it's not going to change.

Your school employs a defensive coordinator that I don't like, I'm not giving any money to you until you fire the defensive coordinator.

One involves impacting the career of a coach, the other informing a catholic school of their connection with a street agent.

One is clearly unacceptable. I guess.

FWIW, I have heard several times lately that the FHSAA has been looking into Champagnat for a while. Im quite certain that Tunsil has to know what Genron is all about. I mean this guy is a straight up hustler and street agent and has NO business being officially employed by any educational institution and having direct access to kids and players like this. I mean this cat got bounced from a 7 on 7 team for unethical behavior, but he's legitimately employed as a coach at an actual school?? LOL

So emailing Golden, Shalala, Blake James, boosters, etc.. trying to get a coach fired (threatening his standard of life) is acceptable when he is a failing coach of your school but not when he is taking advantage of HS athletes?

You really can't be that dense. Go back and read all of the posts, including many stating that letters were sent to the BOT and AD, about D'Onofrio and Golden needing to be fired. There are people actively trying to get the coaches fired. As for his "standard of life", maybe if his "standard of conduct" was a little better he wouldn't have to worry about it. There are consequences to actions. Genron CHOOSES to use his job for his own agenda. That is not acceptable. Period.

People are questioning the rationale behind using the forum to coordinate attacks on our coaching staff, but not against a street agent.

It seems to be protecting the street agent. And some are rustled.

I don't care if they storm the school and burn him at the stake. I also don't care who our DC is.

Nothing will come of this. From what I understand, FHSAA has very little money to launch these types of investigations. As a result, lots of these "schools" fall through the cracks.

The dude is an assistant High School coach, without a teaching/college degree. Do you have any idea what a high school assistant coach in Florida makes? If he's doing this "for a living" then we have a serious problem.

Are people really comparing Golden and Dorito to some two bit high school corch?

Golden and Dorito and Kehoe, etc are public figures, just like all coaches of big time college football programs, CEOs, politicians, etc. Genron may be a ****** that uses facebook and twitter to further his agenda but he is not a public figure (except in the world of the Miami message board).

Taking high profile jobs that force you to be in the public eye bring with it the hate letters and allows for people to call for your job. Happens every day to CEOs, political officials, coaches (on the professional and college level). Its goes with the job.

It shouldn't happen to private citizens that are acting like asshats. So you guys are telling me if someone takes offense to what you tweet or post on facebook, then others can attempt to get you fired and that would be ok?
