Tears Gator Tears

I understand that, however, they’d be doing all that and we’d be unable to match that in any financial way.
To me that's kids showing the rest of the country they don't want to play at spots like that in large part. Because any of us with even basic financial knowledge understands what kind of money is being left on the table if they're still under the table in a meaningful way yet those top kids are choosing to say I pass I'll go somewhere else. I only know of one team sortve doing that in acc and two teams in big 10. Yet they ain't flocking to the almighty sec like they used to.

Did you see the dye job on that guy‘s hair? Those choker beads are boss, especially for a man his age.

Dude has no sense of self.

I’ll have to give it to the responders, just this one time. Some of those comments are pretty funny.

Oh yeah, and somebody carefully placed that sweatshirt there instead of throwing it in the trash. Give me a break, that’s his sweatshirt and he put it there.

Agree but he seems to be fully admitting it's a dye job - he embraces it. To each his own, I guess.,

At the end of the day, it’s about options. Now these young men have multiple options whereas before, it’s go to the SEC, or get very little otherwise.

If anyone thinks UF isn't going to be willing to seriously overspend for Wright/Ghiotto/Edwards when they are all the top Florida recruits and basically in their backyards/top recruiting area..... I imagine they'll try to go all out for the 28 class. Maybe just not to the level USC/A&M did in 26/27 classes. But I'd bet they'll have a top 5 class. USCs class imo is pretty **** good, will A&Ms be that same quality? Honestly I seriously doubt it. So I hope UF is just overpaying for the rankings prestige and landing some overrated dudes.

Remember as a whole we could average spending at the top, and get a better class. But any program in the NIL era can prioritize specific recruits and lock that one up.... Honestly out of that trio, give me Ghiotto, I want one of the Utah OTs (and the Utah wr). But hitting OT/DT/EDGE is critical in 28. Plus 2028 WR class seems pretty good as of now - we're on 5star WR Jaylen Addai also... Plus our 27 (and 26) wr class is legit especially if Sears plays there at all.

I don’t believe it will pass . Fck fhem and the ncaas . Just get a judge to block it if does pass . Them greedy ******** don’t want a bunch of lawsuits . It’s taken away from the kids and keeping sec teams relevant again . They’ll never go by the rules and the ncaa will allow them cheat . All the kids start lawyering up on the ncaa
If they want to limit what schools can pay kids, then kids need to lawyer up and unionize and force a collective bargaining agreement.

Does this legislation limit their NIL money? Because if it does, they should lawyer up and challenge the constitutionality of having a monopoly limit their personal incomes off their NIL.

The protect college sports act contains a clause which grants the NCAA an antitrust exemption. Which means they’re free to break labor laws.
Yeah. I complained about that here the other day. The exemption is a killer. It’s the only leverage over the NCAA. This wasn’t my area of the law but as I said above, I think the players should challenge the constitutionality of a monopoly, limiting people’s abilities to earn as they can off their own Name, Image and Likeness. I’d imagine that the ISSC would take the case and might even side whether th the players.

Also, congress getting involved and limiting the expansion of conferences seems like an overreach to me that the court might have an issue with.

Wow, this guy robbers has got a lot of potential He’s got what I can only call the post-modern deliverance gator motif thingy going. Like he took deliverance, and softened it up with deadhead jewelry. He fits right in. He’s probably got orange and blue tie dye jorts and Birkenstocks.

@OriginalCanesCanesCanes I cant remember what thread we were talking about this in last week, so I’m putting it here…

He’s getting both killed and backed by the bro alliance. It’s so ridiculous. When are people going to realize that his “ratings” and “rankings” aren’t for the two different purposes, it’s so he can talk out of both sides of his mouth?
