I have a crackpot theory here… they flipped Rashada a couple weeks after Cormani committed to us. I said it back then that they were dead in the water after that one.

We all know they needed to do something desperate and they got to Rashada. I believe that they made crazy offers to multiple guys that were committed to us, main-ones being Rashada and Mauigoa. Rashada is the one that bit. It was an offer too good to be true. They needed some positive news badly. They were hopeful that when Rashada flipped it was going to bring in a slew of other commits. It didn’t.

I don’t think they ever intended to come through on his deal. They were using it to stir up momentum and they were desperate. They were hoping they would have a monster class and Rashada would just end up staying for cheaper. Now they have this steamy pile of **** on their hands.

If this indeed is the case, then there is 0% doubt that Sling Blade Billy committed a recruiting violation.
This isnt a recruiting violation. Financial aid paperwork allows school unlimited recruiting access and allowed to publicize the recruit. Been that way since 2012 or something. Dalvin Cook signed with all 3 Florida schools to allow his recruitment go into the dead period.

There has since been a guidance from the NCAA that says only the first school to sign a prospect to financial aid paperwork can have unlimited recruiting access and publicize the recruit as a signee.
