He’s a shtick act. That’s what he does on their board. He was invited. He showed up. He did what I expected. I wasn’t tossing him out with an invite from @TheOriginalCane and me. Some people don’t get it and also don’t have to like it. That’s fine. I don’t really care. I loved it that he showed up. It ran its course though and he and I graciously agreed to bow out… for now.

To be fair, there was an honest debate about whether to do it in its own separate thread, or in Gaytor Tears.

But still...don't give @RVACane a hard time. I proposed the situation, to flush out one of those "man, if I ever had a chance to talk to those guys, I would destroy them" bravado-nonsense things.

And outside of a couple of early stray bullets from @djnellz , I think we were all pretty fair and respectful, or certainly "no more insulting" than he was to us.

I mentioned this above. If you want to know your enemy, you have to confront your enemy, you need to engage with your enemy. Some people read this thread and think we make some of this stuff up, or at a bare minimum, we exaggerate it. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Look, in honesty, I expected some of Northern's schtick for the first few hours, but I thought he would drop it and engage in something more closely approximating a factual/statistical debate. Instead, we got something different. I'm sure he will "claim victory" for being such a one-track poster who was never "tricked" into admitting an ounce of doubt, regret, or self-reflection, but that's pretty much what you get from Gaytor fans.

A false sense of superiority. Arrogance based on NOTHING of distinction or accomplishment. Sneering taunts about being "big brother" (as if anyone is really worried about allllll that Florida accomplished before UM was founded). Lots of false equivalencies and self-contradictory statements.

All in all, it was an excellent exercise. I have shared some of my secret agenda with RVA, no need to lay it all out here in public. Just think about the title of the great second album by The Clash, and you can see Step 1 of my 12-Step master plan.

Please don't give @RVACane or @IndayArtHauz or any other Maude/Mod a hard time about this. All is well.

The impact of him "****ting" on us is misguided and vastly overstated on Swampa$$ 247. We scotch-guarded the place. We had air freshener. And we scooped his **** before it stank and hardened.

We've had this thread for over 5 years. A couple of days of "know thine enemy" hasn't ruined the place. If anything, it reminded us why we are here, and why this thread is (largely) a (seemingly) one-sided discussion.

Enjoy the rest of the evening, and hopefully we can score some runs soon to finish off Arizona.

@RVACane I respect the heck out of you and TOC for what you guys do and bring to the board. With that said, I could have done without all of whatever that was. Yes, that's his shtick and he was invited, but I don't think anyone benefited at all. JMO

To take it a bit farther...

When a guy brags about his big schtick...and you realize he really has a tiny schtick...you just HAVE TO goad him into whipping out his shriveled schtick, so everyone can laugh at it...

That’s fine. We’ve pounded them and mostly that board for 5 years in this thread I’m fine having him show up on an invite and do his thing and I appreciate that he did show up and that it was mostly civil-ish in here…. by everyone…. us and Northern.

As for substance, his answer to my question about not letting us and, more appropriately, FSU, into the SEC is all that needed to be taken out of all of that. They dropped us when we were good, they don’t want the in-state competition within the SEC like other SEC teams have but we’re all pussies because we play in the ACC not the SEC which they’d never let us or FSU into. Got it! K thx, gaytors.

Man, I'm all jacked over baseball and in no mood for the gaytors shenanigans. That being said, I love and respect both you and @RVACane I didn't know dude was invited. I'm saying this with respect, but you shoulda known he wouldn't drop the schtick. We've got pages and pages of evidence showing nothing more than 'arrogance based on nothing of distinction or accomplishment.' 100 percent typical of the little **** living up the street... talking mad **** but ducking and running when the heat comes. If they don't want to engage just send them on their way.

We knew what we were getting. We discussed it. Believe me, if it was some random gaytor troll, we would’ve tossed him as we have before but he wasn’t random.

That second graph is really key.

They will talk crap about us non-stop, we are in a crappy conference, we play nobody, yada yada yada.

But when you put them to the test...hey, schedule us more frequently....hey, how about you invite us into the SEC...oh, good lord, that's when the UiF ****roaches scatter...

They don't want any paaaaarts of Miami. Never have. Never will.

That was everything for me as to substance. Same old UiF. We’d play them every year. We’d never block them from joining our shîtty conference. They don’t want the competition. They’re not a play anyone anywhere anytime mentality program like us - even when we suck.

The rest of it was prime Northern shtick. Some people don’t follow their board and know their posters like you and I and don’t get it or don’t care for it. It’s fine.

And this is why I want intellectual consistency and honesty for Miami fans.

I do believe that the ACC would be wise to take UCF and USF. I AM NOT AFRAID OF PLAYING AGAINST OR RECRUITING AGAINST THOSE SCHOOLS.

But it would allow the ACC to absolutely dominate Florida AND the University of Florida, both on the TV dials and the T-shirt sales.

Enough of this "but we'd be helping out UCF and USF". AND? I don't give a ****. They'll both be Big 12 soon enough anyhow.

I HATE the Gaytors far more than I will ever fear UCF and USF.

lol I missed this post earlier.. now I'm mad at you guys. It's like the commercial with the racoons. One says to the other about how bad something tastes but tells him he has to taste it also. I was fine with seeing that nastiness from a distance, you didn't have to bring it in the house. :)
