So Gus tells Mullen not to hire TWill because Gus's taking him if he gets another HC job, and because Gus is friends with Mullen. But in doing so, Gus leg whips TWill, also a friend, potentially leaving TWill in a bad spot if Gus doesn't get a solid gig? Lol, ok.

And that was if Michigan hired away the gaytor LB coach. Mullet is way ahead of it.

So Gus told Mullett that but not Williams? I mean, if that was the plan all along, why bother accepting the Miami LB coach position? There's nothing to gain by doing that. I think that the correct interpretation is this. Deyavie Hammond, who had already counted as an IC in the year he failed to qualify academically (2019?), would not have had to count a second time as an IC. Thus, you could sign Hammond this year without using a 2021 IC, BUT BUT BUT, you could not just used Hammond's slot for another player by dumping Hammond.

Hammond, for 2021, was a one-time free-pass that was non-transferrable.

def agree with all of this. He and Wadrick Wilson burned us counters wise (along with a few others)

If I had the time, I’d love to bullet point all of mullet’s genius moves and comments, it’ll be a couple of pages at least, just on this year alone.

Including his Oklahoma press conferences which themselves are several bullet points, his behavior and comments following TAMU, his behavior/conduct and press conference at the Missouri game, I could go on and on.

Yep. I tried to explain this to a couple of people who couldn't understand how The Gaytor was taking so many recruits. I had to point out that Hammond and the other guy were "old" ICs from a prior year.

This is such a good idea. It’s pretty similar to the gaytor recaps that @TheOriginalCane gives us from time to time.

I gave my soft top 5 for our guy @Cajuncane to enjoy while he is on the mend, but a true list would be epic (in scope and length). Mullet really just can't help himself. I suspect it's a personality disorder. If we have a psychologist in here, I would be curious to know whether Mullet's wife's cuckolding of Mullet may be one of the reasons he acts out the way he does. Just a thought.
