Don't worry, they never ever ever ever just limit athletics to football.
They had a thread at some point that they were a top 10 athletic program when you factor in all the sports. That wouldn’t shock me. They’re not a top 10 academic school. Maybe they have some kind of gaytor Statistix that has a way of averaging the 2 out???Don't worry, they never ever ever ever just limit athletics to football.

It’s kind of a worthless argument though as it relates to the football program. They can say they are in the 2nd tier of the SEC in football and their school ranks top 40 or 50 in academics.
I don’t think it matters. Kids playing football are choosing other schools with inferior academics over them.
I am sure there is some niche way they are top 10 academic. Maybe among power 5 conference members? Maybe it is academic in the athletic department if you include the entire department?
I will never forget back in the 90s talking about football, and the one guy I knew throwing in soccer, softball, volleyball, etc on how they are a good football program.
Agree that academics seems to be just lip service by recruits. Seen too many go to places where academics isn't even in the picture enough times after they say it is important to them.
Women’s softball, men’s basketball and baseball, combined with football, have helped to put them in that type of group but for me, I only follow college football and there are a number of schools with relatively equal or better academics and good enough programs to get to the league from - Miami, Vandy, Wake, Northwestern, UNC, UVA, Stanford, Cal, Michigan, Wisconsin, Texas, USC, UCLA, Duke, Notre Dame, Boston College, Georgia Tech, Purdue... maybe Virginia Tech, at least for Engineering???I am sure there is some niche way they are top 10 academic. Odd that they kids claiming “academics” the loudest never seem to have Stanford, Duke, Northwestern or Vanderbilt in their Top 20, much less ever commit there.
Only players right now that will get drafted and are eligible for next year's draft are CJ and Perrine. Marco could probably get drafted, but he'd be an idiot to leave given that he missed his sophmore year with a torn ACL.
I just don't see how they think Franks is going to get drafted. I didn't think any fanbase could be that delusional. But my god.
No, he just went on an official there in May.Was Burns CB'd to the Gators?
The majority of replies are all UM fans. That in itself speaks volumes.Guessing Gator fans won't be too happy that Leonard Manuel just posted a top 7 while committed to them
They think he’s a high draft pick on top of it.
31st RoundThe Red Sox will draft Franks higher than any NFL team does.
