My sauces indicated that when the Gators approached Gundy for the job, they had reason to believe that Gundy was a 39 year old woman.
This did not sit well with Gundy, and caused negotiations to breakdown.

Yeah.....got blown out at home with arguably Jimbo's worst team since he's been there. Mullin probably hasn't even cleared out his office at Mississippi St. and the gators are already on top? News to me.

Stampini's his own worst enemy. You're not flipping Fields from UGA who's having a season similar to Miami's. Both UGA and Miami at the very least will be in NYE bowl games, while UF couldn't even make a bowl game.
We may be losing Norton and/or McIntosh along with Moten; Silvera's practically guaranteed to be in the 2-deep next season.
Chatfield has yet to pull the trigger on UF because he was waiting on a Miami offer - which rightfully came last month.

Why is it that every coach has to act like the job he got was the only one he was ever offered and the only one he would ever have wanted or considered taking? And the school always has to act like the coach they hired was the only one they offered, like UF didn't pursue Kelly or Frost, they only ever wanted Dan Mullen for the job. No one actually believes them when they say this stuff anyway.
