Look, here's the simple analysis. Occam's Razor and whatnot.
UF approached Kelly first. Maybe even got to a good framework on an agreement. But UCLA is now in play, and his agent is from UCLA. Dunn is not going to fly to LA, set up a meeting with UCLA, and then yank the football away from Charlie Brown.
The fact that UF sent the big "recruiting party" (6 UAA members) and didn't get a signature speaks volumes here.
And all that nonsense that UF is spitting about "Kelly having a complex batch of contractual language with Philly and SF"? Yeah, that's a load of crap. Those deals were in place over a year ago, and if Kelly and Dunn are ONLY NOW reading the language? Give me a motherfvcking break, those two know EXACTLY what the language says and what language they will need in a new contract.
It is obvious as **** that Kelly (all other things being equal) would prefer to go to UCLA. If UCLA blinks on issues of assistant coaches or facilities, it could push Kelly to UF. But he clearly prefers the UCLA opportunity.
Finally, as just an aside, as stubborn as Kelly is about personnel, I highly doubt that he ends up taking Corral. Either he goes to UCLA and goes all out to retain DTR, or he goes to UF and he tries to recruit DTR away from UCLA.
Just my 2 cents.
