Rashada actually SIGNED his LOI with UF. THEN they backed out of the agreement and Rashada had to appeal to the NCAA to get a waiver to get out of his LOI. Then the Gators acquiesced.
The gator talking points today are:
1. If Billy became directly involved in this transaction, he is dumber than we believed.
2. If Billy did this he disgraced the University and should be fired for cause [if he loses 5 games].
yea that's not an IF but a WHEN...IF???
yea and being stupid...Tell your partner...
If Slingblade Billy limited his conversation to "please Jaden, come to Florida, we have great coaches and easy women", then if Jaden flipped his verbal AND broke his NIL deal with the Miami collective and Mr. Ruiz, all would have been fine.
But if Slingblade Billy talked about the money, how Mr. Hathnocock was good for it, and how he would use all of his power as a football coach to make sure that Jaden got paid everything promised if Jaden just signed an NIL deal with Florida, then Slingblade Billy is guilty of tortious interference with a contract.
Please do not let Billy get firedThe gator talking points today are:

Happy endings only come during Florida recruiting visitsThere is no happy ending for UF here. No matter what happens, their entire athletic department is getting drug through the mud in the national media. They desperately tried to bury the Rashada story when it happened. They let him out of his NLI hoping the whole story would just go away when he went to ASU. They’re even pretending like it didn’t happen. But Miami fans know the gator offered Jaden Rashada 13 million dollars to sign with them and then backed out of the deal right before signing day when they thought Rashada had no other options. Now everyone else will know that.
I think Hathcock got all that plastic surgery so Rashada couldn’t recognize him and try to get his money.
Dawg someone said "his recruitment was between UGA and us. He just forgot which school he chose"![]()

If they try to fire for cause he will sue. Yet another settlement, as UiF can't afford that testimony to come out either. The gator talking points today are:

So he committed, uncommitted, then committed to them. The lying must have happened with him as well.![]()

So was Marco Wilson.Let's proceed with caution here.
Michai Boireau is a University of Miami legacy. His father is Michael Boireau.
There’s no way He said thatI listened to the Miami 247 podcast the other day and they had Johnny Jerkoff or whatever his name is from the UF 247 page as a guest. I thought only their fans were delusional but their media is downright ridiculous. First, this dude says the talent level has been significantly raised in Gainesville and this is their best team in years. Then he says they could easily go 7-6 or 8-4. Then, after taking a huge drag from his crack pipe, he says “with their schedule, an 8-4 gator team should get a look from the playoff committee”.
