This reminds me of when we had the #1 class during spring/summer, only to fall to the teens. Forget what year it was, maybe 2017? Could’ve been earlier, I can’t remember.

Regardless, hope we can get in on the spoils…would be a wasted opportunity if not.

I agree to a degree but with NIL now, nothing is guaranteed even if you’re elite. Not saying that’s why Florida’s class is starting to fall apart but it’s the state of college football.

NIL was never going to stop that. That’s why I didn’t get why people thought bama and those types of teams would die out. They won’t they will just adapt. I think all P5 teams drop bags low key just some are heavier than others.

My sense is less about NIL and more about the pressure to commit so early in the process, when so few of them had even visited any other schools. @TheOriginalCane was right about that.
