Gary Anderson to Oregon State

Anderson knows his roster, and maybe he felt like this was his best chance to jump ship for more money. It's incredibly hard to recruit to Wisconsin, and that job has been overrated a bit by them getting some good coaches who have won games in a crappy conference. Maybe he looked at his roster without the great Melvin Gordon next year and figured it was time to get out of Dodge.

Wisky doesn't spend money to retain coaches, one of the big reasons that Bielema left.

Also they have tough academic standards for athletes, not an easy campus to recruit to.

you fools think golden is about to leave 2mill on the table...

I just can't bring myself to believe any AD besides Flake Jaimes would hire Al Golden. The gig is up for Al. This his last coaching gig that's why he waiting out that payoff.

He may, actually, be a good fit for Wisconsin. Al is a Big 10 guy. He could spin the cloud situation and how he's familiar w/ the Big 10 landscape. He could use the fact that UM's budget to hire the proper assistants constrained his efforts as a successful head coach, but w/ Wisconsins budget, he'll really be lead a program to national prominence. Let's just hope he and Barry are on good terms.

He wouldn't. He would be leaving for a job in the Big Ten with a comparable salary. So *** yes. He's gets away from us who hate him. His own team isn't fond of him. I wish somebody could find out how much time he's spent on campus since the Pitt loss. Dude left the start of bowl practice open-ended just for a situation like this. Bet if he gets a call from Barry Alvarez we won't practice on Friday.

This is the model Shalala is choosing to follow. **** pay for coaches, unnecessary standards for athletes. This joke cheesehead school gets that ***** ***** wet.

Yeah but idk. The jump around tradition they have there with the whole stadium jumping could present a challenge. It's selfish. It prevents players from growing up, and if it's during a night game it could really set the team back.
