FSU to allow fans and tailgating

Tailgating a terrible idea. Nothing but a hotbed to spread the virus and potentially ***** up everything for everybody. Of course I never considered the FSU folks the sharpest knives in the drawer.

What percentage of people who post or view this board do you think has been to Hard Rock Stadium in the last two years?
lol you can come find me in the alumni section if were allowed back. there are a good amount of season ticket holders here considering we provide ticket updates to other members of the site including the recent one where they basically put everyones 2021 renewal plan on hold until the fins decide what to do

I’m also in the alumni section in the club level. I’ve been to 132 games obviously dating back to the Orange Bowl. I’m aware there are plenty of die hard fans on here but to think most on here are regularly attending games is naive in my opinion.

im not sure how this thread got so sidetracked, just wanted to pass along what another acc school in our state has announced and hope that we can provide the same experience for those who want it. I’ve been calling the ticket office weekly for updates. They know nothing and are waiting to hear what the Dolphins do. Unfortunately the Dolphins don’t play until the following Sunday after us so there may not be much of a rush for them to decide.

The mayor of Dade has already said in an interview with Andy Slater that he thinks fans will be allowed in some capacity at HRS. He suggested 25%.

as for tailgating, the Dolphins idiotically stated back in June that none would be allowed this season. HOPEFULLY Steven Ross walks those comments back

I have no idea why he would make a decision so early in the process, nobody knows what things are going to be like a month from now. It’s like the Big Ten decision, just a knee-jerk reaction. I mean, they could still cancel tailgating, but how can you do it a month or two months ago or whenever it was. It’s throwing in the towel too early.

As far as who ultimately makes decision regarding tailgating, and whether we can override it for our games, I doubt it. I’m pretty sure that Ross/dolphins have control of that aspect of it, since it’s their stadium.

this has been posted before but here’s a link where he says it’s a collaborative effort between Ross and local leaders

It’s not a lot, my friend. At least from what I can surmise. My guess, and it’s just a guess, is that somewhere in the neighborhood of 20-30 of our porsters, max, regularly attend games.
I would say that's the likely number of season ticket holders. But how many have actually tailgated?

I am neither of those.
