I dig the Donnell Bennett and Larry Jones comparisons. Reminds me of Cleveland Gary as well. He is almost down but some how stays up and gets more yardage. CG could catch the ball like a ************. Not sure Thad can do that. Woulda loved watching Citizen and Chaney run today. That was the only bummer for me today.
 
Frank Gore Jr ran for 173 yards & 2 TDs off of 33 rush attempts for southern Miss tonight (our opponent next week). Starting QB only attempted 9 passes so I guess we know what they will try doing.

No, he doesn't run with great leverage, quickness or balance. If he were 10-15 pounds lighter he'd be quicker and more powerful, like Gore. He looks like a finesse runner with an extra 20lbs on his back.
 
I didn’t think Thad was that easy to tackle but I’m assuming they weren’t trying to inflict much pain and garner more contact than needed…

We’re razor thin on depth no reason to go Marion Barber (RIP) on them

You do realize we don't want to expose our gameplay till we get to a&m right? We're not gonna see a true reflection of this offense until that game and moving into acc play.

He’s a nice RB…. but not Gore like. Don’t see it, at all. He’s got some size, some shiftiness, pretty quick feet. Now, If you’re talking about late late Gore (his last couple years), then maybe…. NO! No way. Gore’s talent was otherworldly.
