The more he runs the more he reminds me of Gore. He finds the holes and has that low pad level. And then when he got outside and made that jump cut back to the inside, that was vintage Gore? No?
This is what I was going to say. Older Frank Gore was very much a power back and chain mover. Age and injury had really zapped most of his elite shiftinesses and straight line speed but he still had elite vision and balance even pushing 40 years old.He reminds me of late-career Gore. Never takes losses and avoids direct hits.
Did you just compare Franklin to Gore??The more he runs the more he reminds me of Gore. He finds the holes and has that low pad level. And then when he got outside and made that jump cut back to the inside, that was vintage Gore? No?

Franklin has no business in the same sentence with Gore and McGuire....McGuire's game vs FSU in 1990 is UM Historical....Stewart and McGuire are good comparisons. But not Gore. At all.
Is it me or does it look like Franklin trimmed down some? Remember him being bulkier last season.
