Former players really hate Gorlden

In order for Golden to be fired, the Canes would have fail this season- and that shizz ain't happening.

my boy who played when chud was here loves him. said he would be great but he thinks he would bolt back to nfl. also said he thinks butch would take time because he has been out of the college game for a minute. not sure i agree on that.

Well how long did it take butch to turn it around here? Because he didnt do it in one season

Apples and oranges. Butch didn't turn it around in year b/c the **** had to be creative in his scholarship approach to get players on the football w/ the heavy sanctions levied against UM. Once the sanctions were done, Butch was on the run. Butch would now walk into an actually pretty good situation. Grohlden is making this situation look bad. Give Saban, Meyers, Miles, Harbaugh, Carroll or Davis this roster and last year's roster and we're in the final four. 2nd most NFL draftable players in the ENTIRE NCAA, and yet we went 6-7...This 2015-2016 roster is not bad either, it's littered w/ playmakers, yet they will all be put on a leash. Butch walks into this situation and we win at least 9 games off the jump.

Of course they weren't going to attend. If you were any of those guys on the staff of almost a handful of losing seasons of a 5 time National champioship team in the country's most fertile recruiting base, you wouldn't want to go watch a bunch of privately disgruntled HOF'ers and former coaches and players relive the glory days in front of you.
That's salt to the wound of not only the current staff who would be reminded literally every 2min of what they aren't doing, but salt to the wound of alums who know that each year a sizeable amount of guys from this team get drafted, and each year the team as a whole fail to uphold the legacy that continues to fade due to a coaching incompetency.

Ignoring the noise, remember?

Chud has been my pick for two years but not sure he wants to leave NFL. Still think Butch gives us a huge splash in recruiting players AND assistants. Dude sends people to paydays on Sundays and that is what most want. Golden got Coley $500k plus, so there is decent money for assistants. Keeping them might be hard but who cares. We have almost as much talented coaching alums as we have players. There is no reason for us to be in this situation except the intentions of the BOT and administration.

Source?

I saw it reported on espn.com shortly after the hire. Its not something that can be confirmed officially as UM management is like a mini-mafia and does not like anyone paying close attention to how they do their business.

Why would Chud want to work for this loser adminstration and leadership? They are cheap and really have no championship aspirations in football. They want to be Harvard south, and didn't appreciate the 'Thug stigma' associated with its football program.

THIS!

I'm not going to say I didn't hear at least two UM football HOFers leaning into Chud's ear and saying he should be the next UM coach.

Shout out to UM for creating this situation, at a freakin HOF ceremony :XvfmlQQ:

More cliques.

And shame on Mr. Porter for using these insidious cliques to get clicks.

Sounds awesome. Maybe they can be on the search committee. Last coach they picked won a National Championship.

If Golden and Co didn't show up that's pathetic. Hopefully there's a good reason.

Maybe his wife was sick again. Let's not jump to conclusions. These Miami muckraking reporters never check things out before getting everyone all lathered up with venomous fangs protruding in attack mode.

I thought they took their vacations usually right after the spring game. I think some writers are getting bored.

AG was spotted in Paris searching for a pastry chef for CoachD(oughnut). A new and creative way to fill the holes on defense.
We will be using the cream puff front in short yardage and the Twinkie package in passing situations.

Only trolls would create a thread about coaches not being at the HOF ceremony. Let's celebrate the inductees. They were all beasts.

his absence is such a non-issue but yall know how it is around here. soo ehh.

You don't find it odd that the current head coach or any of his staff was present at the induction of several high profile ex-players, including the late Sean Taylor? It seems normal to you that the coach of a program that prides itself on it's family legacy and consistently boasts about it's successful alumni is absent from an event honoring some of the greatest to ever wear the U? Okay. Non-issue.

First Head coach to miss the event me thinks ... but I may be wrong. But you right, Golden is all about the history of the U.
