For the fire Blake James Crowd

Richt was a godsend for 2 seasons of this **** show of an administration and program. That 2017 season gave folks a glimpse of what a winning Miami team can look like and do for the school. Unfortunately his health was declining rapidly and that quickly faded and every decision since was quick and forced. We have a chance to cut the bleeding now before this gets worse and worse. The timing for the school and Mario is just right.

His offense declined even faster.

There is not a single successful sports program of note at Miami. They have all disintegrated without retribution. The three main mens programs have had trouble recruiting, developing, and retaining players and morale problems. Attrition and disaffection are the first signs of collapse and irrelevance.

What makes Blake James a bad AD in some of your eyes? We have a president who doesn’t give a **** about football and offers him no support essentially telling him he is on his own, a disorganized and dis-unified board of trustees that micromanaged and forced the Manny Diaz hire, and he’s given half the budget top ten programs are given but expected to hire a top ten coach, he does not have nearly the financial booster support that massive state SEC schools have. I’m not saying he’s great AD but what is he supposed to do? It seems like any AD no many how good they are is gonna be limited. It seems to me the root of the problem is the school itself and the board of trustees. That needs to be fixed before you fix AD position and the Head coach position. Although hiring a Mario Cristobal would make a lot of those issues fade into the background
How does the athletic department have such a tiny budget when the director is such an amazing fund raiser?

lol.. this dude hired manny diaz without interviewing one candidate... that's why he should be fired.. what are we even debating here... didn't interview one person and paid a buyout... not like he got urban meyer.. he did that for MANNY DIAZ... a nobody... he needs to be canned he deserves to be canned and the fact that people are not sure is mind boggling

What support has been withheld that has prevented Blake James from seeking and achieving excellence?
None. There has been zero support withheld.

There has been lifeline after lifeline given to Blake, he has refused to take them:

1)Money to golden for a DC.

2) $1m plus to Richt for an OC.

3) A coaching vacancy free snd clear of any buyouts

4) Three years of Alonzo Highsmith’s salary.

In each instance, he left the fate of the program in the hands of the already failed hire. To suggest he’s had no help is simply dishonest.

Btw.. He’s also had the expertise of some of the finest football minds of the last 30 years at his disposal, all willing to help.

I have never seen more excuses than this fan base. Truman is rolling in his grave because we just keep passing the buck. "Who cares about Manny, he isn't the issue, even if we fire him our coaches will never do well because of Strawley". "Who cares about Strawley, even if we fire her Blake will hire someone just as bad, no COO could be succesful with Blake at the helm". "who cares about Blake he is just a symptom of Blake, he is just a symptom of Frenk, until Frenk is gone, we will never have a good AD, because he doesn't care about football and he doesn't give him support". "who cares about Frenk, no president can do well with our BOT, they don't pay out for a good president and they don't care about football only the Harvard of the South". "Who cares about the BOT, its the fans fault why don't you just donate more money to the team, if you don't donate more than Frost, then you are the reason the team is bad".

here are list of things you don’t need a massive budget for…

You don’t need a massive budget to do a legit coaching search.

You dont need a massive budget to have accountability

You don’t need a massive budget to have standards

Money simply buys speed.

If you dont you have the money (which we know is greatly over exaggerated )

Then you need to put in the sweat equity and win with more strategy and grind.

Blake James is the definition of comfortable.
He’s not a winner, he doesn’t have a passion for high level success.

His tolerance and pacification of mediocrity proves that.

He’s an AD in title. But comes off like he doesn’t really care about sports.

He’s not a guy that is all in doing everything he can to find even the smallest advantage for his major programs.

He’s not the guy exploring loop holes that he can leverage given his “monetary” constraints.

He’s the guy that settles for “we’re maxing out”.

Honestly I don’t want an AD who wants to stay at Miami for 20 years. I want an AD who wants to stay for 5 years and views Miami as his meal ticket to the next level.

Becuase one thing we know for sure…if you are fired from Miami you dont get another big time gig.

If he does his job right, there is no next level.

There is a level.

For the person who wants more there are a handful of larger schools with bigger budgets.

But if you want to stay and stack chips that’s fine too.
