Nope, nope and nope. 3 nopes in case the first two weren’t emphatic enough.Serious question.
Do you think a signifigant number, any number, of recruits or players make decisions based on what fans say or think?

Your criticism is non-stop and won’t end no matter what we do. Your criticism lost its bite around 2008.
Dabo had at least 3 years of struggling and a couple more years until clemon stopped “clemsoning”..he was 6-7 in year 3 after winning 9 games the previous year
Richt has 3 classes of his own now.
Recruits don’t care what u say on cis, they care that they go to a system that suits them, with coaches to develop them, and a to a team that will play them early.
It’s dillusional to think u hold any sway over those kids.
He lost that year in the Meineke Car Care Bowl to South Florida on his way to a 1-3 bowl record, and, for history sake, he showed up for the job interview as an assistant (like Shannon) and with a binder of ideas (ala Golden).
Would I and the rest of our fans have run him off before he built the jaugernaut that is now
consistently near the top of the heap.
If I'm being honest with myself, I would have been in the middle of the pack carrying torches, pitchforks and trying to get everyone to fly planes with banners saying, "DABO'S A DUMBO, GIVE HIM THE HEAVE-HO"
I would have been short-sighted.
As I've said before, 100% of us are disappointed. Maybe me more than most. I really, really wanted this year to be great. I watch all the spring interviews. The work the team was doing. It was exciting. How much worse could Rosier be? Although we we're moving into year 3/4 of the Golden OL recruits, how bad could they be? Feagles was a well regarded punter from a UM/NFL pedigree. Richards was coming back. We were ranked 8/9. Exciting. We're back. Oops.
His "yes men" staff and "archaic" offense worked fine in 2017. And is the offense really that archaic? As I recall FSU was not an RPO heavy team. Nor was Georgia.
And he very much plays the younger guy. Not every young guy has overtaken a spot.
But YES. We are all disappointed. And should be. And hope we get some more stud recruits in the next 2 years to massively overfill the folks left behind by Golden's final 2 classes.
(My PS1 and PS2 still apply from my initial screed)
When u come to a new program..you start from scratch dude..your missing my whole point. My point is when your building a program no matter your previous exp you need at least 4-5 years. So the fact that ppl like u are calling for Richts head after 9–4 10-4 then a lack luster 8-5 or 7-6 year is premature..it’s not about personally supporting MR. I did the same thing with Golden and Shannon.worse part is y’all pretend like this program hasn’t been in the gutter for 15 years prior to richt arrivingDabo was a first time HC and was learning on the job. That's to be expected. You same Richt supporters preach about what he's done at Georgia. This is why he's not afforded the same excuse. Saban also went 5-7 his first year at Alabama, Taggart went 5-7 his first year at FSU, I'm guessing Taggart's the next Saban by your logic.
Yea right? Weird. In Richt's first 2 years, the board was overwhelmingly positive, yet we still struck out on certain blue chip recruits. That's the nature of recruiting, but our positivity sure didn't have an affect. Now our negativity does? Strange.
First off, Richts offense was NOT working fine he first 2 years. Not even close. As I've said before, 100% of us are disappointed. Maybe me more than most. A coach doesn’t need 5 years to beat teams he clearly outclasses talent wise. U wanna give him 5 years to beat a Clemson? Ok I’m good with that. He shouldn’t be struggling bs uva in year one, let alone 3.When u come to a new program..you start from scratch dude..your missing my whole point. We were ranked 59th last year in total offense. How is that fine? We rode that season off of our defense. Which is a recurring theme after analyzing Richt's first 3 years at Miami.

There is more to our teams struggles this year than the suggestion we were just outcoached by lesser talented teams man..that’s such a short sited answer to our struggles imoA coach doesn’t need 5 years to beat teams he clearly outclasses talent wise. The offense is a mess. Top to bottom. OL sucks, QB sucks, and OC refused to game plan for that fact. There is more to our teams struggles this year than the suggestion we were just outcoached by lesser talented teams man..that’s such a short sited answer to our struggles imo

Weird. In his third year, Dabo lost to South Florida, Randy Shannon and Boston College--- amongst their 7 losses.
But he did thump both Presbyterian and North Texas amongst his 5 victories.
At Clemson, with all that $ and recruiting gold mine they should have never lost more than 3 games.
I'm kidding of course, but you get the drift!

The #16 and #24 teams on that list got thumped by Miami in 2017.
Offense fine means that we got to 10-0 and #2 because the offense did enough to win the games when the defense (under not too long ago whipping boy Diaz) was not as stellar.
Its not yet anywhere close to what any of us want, me especially.
But a mature, quality offensive line, Nkosi or Jarren (or Weldon) and receivers (coached by everyone's favorite, Dugans) start catching the **** ball, the offense might start pulling it's weight.
Candidly, the biggest thing I want to see is us recruit a great punter. Can I get one of those? Please?

The real difference... Dabo made staff changes when he had to. Once he got his staff right, he hit his stride. Look at that defense before and after BV.You really are ready to go down with the ship on this argument. Dabo was a first time HC when he took over at Clemson. He didn't have 15 years of experience like Richt does. Dabo had to build that program up and learn along the way. Dabo made changes when necessary. It took Richt's bosses to force him to make changes while he was at UGA. If you don't see the issues, I can't help you.
