I was being sarcasticHave you seen the title of this thread?
This is certainly fair, and I appreciate keeping everyone on their toes with where we're at in the season. It's too early to start dancing on Dan Lannings grave. He very well could win a National Championship before Mario (as one other poster pointed out).
And if you want to bring this up and praise Mario, you're just being a Mario Bro!
Don't fall for it! Either way, you're ****ed!
You seem to be reeling a bitThe entire team is injured on O.
Saw something like they’re planning w only one starting WR & one starting RB. Regardless, losing Will Stein hurt this team. Even when healthy, the O looked pedestrian AF. Lanning hired a guy to run his O, albeit in house, that literally ran the worst O in CFB the last time he was an OC, & welp.
BTW, Raiola has been an absolute **** show

Success is no longer linear in college football. Oregon has bigger problems than just Dante Moore being out, but can you imagine where Miami would be without Mensah? This is certainly fair, and I appreciate keeping everyone on their toes with where we're at in the season.
Having said that, we're in year 5 of Mario and Lanning's respective years at each school. In 2022, Oregon was in a much better position than Miami was. Fast forward to present day - Oregon is 4-3, Miami is 7-0 and is currently #1 in the nation. Previous year, Oregon got molly-whopped in the Peach Bowl by Indiana (game wasn't even close), while Miami nearly pulled off winning the title.
Thankfully, we don't have to find out right now, but that doesn't mean Nickel would automatically struggle if given the opportunity to step in for Mensah. Mensah has been great, no question, but Nickel may actually be better than people may think. Until he's given a real opportunity to show what he can do, assuming Miami would fall apart without Mensah is just speculation. For all we know, Nickel could step in and play lights out.but can you imagine where Miami would be without Mensah?
You just mentioned Oregon having bigger problems despite missing Moore, so not sure I understand the argument. We can talk hypotheticals, but in reality we are one of the last three undefeated teams in the P4Success is no longer linear in college football. My point is that program building still matters, but not as much. Oregon can easily spend to snag one of the top portal quarterbacks and they’ll be back next year. You just mentioned Oregon having bigger problems despite missing Moore, so not sure I understand the argument. You need more than a QB, bud.My point is that program building still matters, but not as much. Oregon can easily spend to snag one of the top portal quarterbacks and they’ll be back next year.
I hate Oregon, I’m glad they are suffering and Lanning is a clown. But it’s not a big leap to a Top 10 team next season for them.
