Maybe Golden realized that he can't slow roll kids like Fenton and hope they come begging for offers down the road.

Forget Marcus Lewis. Lock up a kid like Fenton right now.

Pete has stated several times that Fenton does not have an offer. He was about to commit during the summer last year to us but I guess it was non committal. I could be wrong about that situation about him committing though.
 
We were banking on kids like Carlton David, Devante Davis and Marcus Lewis.

We are not getting them and Golden knows it.

Take Fenton while you can still get him.

We did the same thing with Skai Moore. We thought Matt Thomas was coming and slow rolled Moore.

He would have came. Probably still would but some *** kissing is in order.

Miami may not be plan A for Fenton. Let that sink in. Not everyone is in a hurry to commit to a 6-7 team.
 
The fact that Golden might only now be realizing you can't slow play kids from Dade, Broward and Palm Beach like he did with Skai Moore 4 years into his tenure is sickening and utterly pathetic.

Man, golden should just follow this message board Fenton should of been offered last year during junior day! This is way over due!
 
Think Fenton has already looked past us considering we haven't offered in the past year.. Hopefully we can grab him but we deserve it if we don't. Why wait 1 month before NSD?

i'm more of a fenton fan. Hoggins is a great HS player but his height will challenge him in college. Fenton has the classic dog in him UM is known for.
