Fall practise #3

Given how deep we are at WR and the fact that we have two elite TEs, I just want a QB who can go through his progressions when his first read isn't there. We will always have a man open.

Whether our QB will have the time to go through his reads is another story and may affect the choice at QB.
Great post. We have a ton of talent on offense and now a real offensive coordinator who knows how to use it. QB selection is obviously important and I can see why so many are anxious about the decision, but whoever Manny and Enos pick for the job will be put in a great position to succeed, unlike last year when we doomed our oline and skill position players with a playbook consisting of of up the gut runs, verts, and 6 yard punts.

And Nelson would be lined up against a redshirt senior who is currently a 1st/2nd round NFL Draft pick in 2020, Zuniga.

Man, I really do not like the thought of starting a true freshman in his first college game against someone like that.
Agee on the freshman thing but I’ll say this, Zuniga is good but idk about 1st or 2nd round good. If he was that good he would have went to the draft this year seeing as he had already been In college four years. Redshirt seniors usually only come back because there draft grade wasn’t that good so there giving it one more try but you usually are who you are after four years. And Zion is going up against a much better d end in Garvin or hill everyday in practice. If he can hold his own against those two then I think will be ok against the gaytor.

If Nelson can hold up against Garvin Hill Patchan G15 and Harvey in scrimmage then I'll have no worries all season.... if he gets abused on every play then and only then will my jimmies be rustled
Exactly, those are some of the most gifted dends in college football. He won’t see anything vs uf that he hasnt seen better in practice playing against our top 5 Des and that’s facts.

I'm just telling you what I see from 2020 NFL Draft mocks, that's his grade.

If that’s true then I must say he was silly to come back but if that’s the case then I’d like to see what Hills grade for next year is because he’s arguably been the best d end in the acc along with Garvin/joe jack and burns from FSU.

No way in **** any of us have seen enough of ANY of the players to make a determination as to who should start and who will be back ups. I'm going to rely on our competent coaching staff to make those determinations. And when they do, I'll trust their judgement until proven otherwise.

Dont want to give you nightmares, but dont speak in absolutes..

Imagine having 2 Dr. Pipho like turnstiles at Tackle.. It can always get worse

I dont care who your oc, qb is.. it can get worse.. We have huge question marks at oline

A fullback would help.

Zuniga is a1st or 2nd round talent for sure. Enos and Barry better have a plan for him, or it might be a long day.

Stay away from the five receiver route combo and maybe even some max protect. Give the kid some help with backs and tes. Don’t throw the kid to the wolves and leave him on an island all game long.

Took Richt **** near 3 quarters to FINALLY help out w Burns last yr, who threw off our entire offense the first half.

Funnily enough, Brevin as a true freshman held his own against him when he was put in to help. Straight up handled him on one critical play.
