As I have alluded to before, Voters and committee members are usually caught up in the moment when it comes to things like this.
If Miami defeats a top 5 Clemson team the narrative will be that Miami is back and that Richt finally won the big game. Not only a big game but a game against a team that has been to three straight playoffs and two out of three CFB championship games.
UGA losing even if it is a close game will not be enough.
But it may all be moot because I think UGA will probably lose at LSU.
