the funny thing is that all those what you called "excuses" are true about him, the kid cant handle press, hes not physical, i havent seen him run different routes other than a hitch and a go, but he is fast, now these are just facts about him, but all of these can be fixed with the right coaching
 
im not going to say he isnt good but to me looking at depth charts and success last season i see why those are his top schools copper from 2012 said he hates FL offence but i dont think ermon is that smart all he hears is your going to wear #1 and we will pass you the ball do we NEED him? No but do we WANT him? Yes very bad. he has always been a primadona receivers that we will have a Love/Hate relationship with

Lane is a beast, I would abolutely love to have him. I guess I wrote him off long long ago though but I still think we will make a push for him after the season.

I figured we wouldn't get him so I wanted to see us fill his spot adequately and when I saw Langham I rested easier. Langham hasn't shown his face like Lane has but he has beast potential as well.

You can't always land the elite guys in your backyard when you are a mediocre team, but this staff keeps grinding and we can still have an amazing WR class which is really all that matters in the end.
 
to add to my last post i am no way saying lane is a bad player, i think he has potential to be a star, i was just stating facts about him

Well, unlike a lot on this board, I care about getting Ermon. He's a stud. He can do it all and will be an amazing receiver in college. We should never lose a kid like this. VERY disappointing. Imagine him and Coley on the outside. Yikes! That's what NC Teams possess. If we want to get back to the elite level we were once at, we have to keep the Sony's, Dalvin's, Ermons at home. Gotta get that done.
 
Let him go fellas. Wants to make an impact early, not happening in Coral Gables. I applaud him for using his head if he goes to Alabama. Florida he'll disappear.

He is a luxury recruit. I'd rather the energy be put toward a DT honestly, maybe Cook. We are stacked at WR.

And to add to my previous post, would love to have him. Just won't be as upset as most here if he is not apart of this class. Wish him well wherever he goes.

SO TRUE!!!!!!!!!! That's the thing I don't understand about this fan base. When we get a recruit that UF or FSU wanted you laugh because their fan base acts like it's no big deal. You guys are doing the exact same thing. He's ranked #1 WR for a reason. How many of you were saying "its no big deal" when Sammy Watkins signed with Clemson?
 
Like I said, when we ball out on the field this year and build some momentum into OV season, we are going to make a push for him. Until then, what he does and says just doesn't matter to me.

I still believe he is the best WR in the state. Would love to have him but I just don't see it happening unless he was just trolling everyone. But I stand by comments that he would be an idiot for going to UF. Same goes for Rudolph. I said the same about O'Leary going to FSU. These kids need to do their research and stop getting caught up in where their boys are going or who shows them the most "love".
 
Funny that last year, many on this site were predicting Lane, Michel, Clark, and Moten to UM. Now, it's no big deal we got this guy or that guy.

Bottomline, all four would be big time losses. Would UM survive? Of course. At the same time, we sure could use these difference makers...
