the Aggies have already been exposed. They just lost to app state and they are on their way to another 7-8 win season

Personally I don't think this style of football is right for Miami. I do think we will miss Lashlee by seasons end. He is a good coach which is why got a head coaching job.

Lashlee is better than a lot of people think. Was he perfect? No. But he was better than we have had in a long time.

Some of these responses are just almost anti-intellectual and lack any perspective or insight. Mind boggling.

As a coordinator, you have to run what you feel comfortable with the personnel you have. That's all. What you think is irrelevant. Its almost laughable, but that's a different thread here.

Gattis is trying to establish a new mindset and new script, so he probably doesn't care what you or I think. You might say, well why didn't he do this? Well, maybe they don't think the G's can pull fast enough to make it happen right, or hold blocks long enough to allow the pattern to develop if the defense blitzes or...

But by all means, feel free to call something inane names to make yourself feel better.

I had no issues with Lashlee.
I thought he did decent work at UM.
But let's get real, he got ripped often on this forum.

you guys are using two games where our offense performed well to assume gattis will be bad because it's not the type of offense that YOU prefer?

you should attempt to read a single thing about Michigan's 2021 team. After Gattis first 2 abysmal years at UM, Harbaugh took a much more active role in '21

I don’t mind running the ball as much as we have been if it works. However, I’d like to play at a much quicker pace. This slow plodding style doesn’t benefit TVD’s style of play. I’d also like to see more of a vertical passing game incorporated, especially early on in games.

This. Running the ball is fine. Let’s just show a bit more up tempo to keep better defenses on their heels

We had four drives that were 10, 12. 13, and 16 plays. I can not remember when we had 4 sure drives in a game.
Three of those drives were over 6 minutes and the fourth 5 min 30 sec. We need to be able to control the ball and clock for
extended periods if are goal is champiionship football. We also had two quick scores, yes some were field goals.
Yes , I would lilke to see a few more deep balls, but if continue to play like we did in the 2nd half I'll be satisfied.
