I'm all for arrogant, but the dude does not look arrogant. If he lets his players play with that chip on their shoulder and doesn't muszzle them, I think we will solve a few problems with that change alone.

In total agreement that we need an arrogant coach, and I like Hubert. I'm just saying that he thinks he's the best coach to ever stroll a sideline.

I don't get it. Is he buyout different now than it is after the season? If they're going to do it after the season then who cares

If FSU puts a merciless beat down on us at the Doak, the pressure on the Board is going to start to build up from the Big Time Ibis Donors from the outside. Also from the networks and the ACC, who don't want to put any more embarrassing bullsh*t on their air.
 
The hue Jackson thing is total BS. There is no way this administration has a clue who to hire. They are going to have to hire someone to tell them who to interview. Then they will interview them and hire whoever has the best interview. You cant count on that.

The problem is that way too many top Board Members think that Butch left for the Browns in the middle of contract negotiations with the University and won't hire him under any circumstances. I don't know which Board Members, but Fain of Royal Caribbean is believed to be one, at least from what I've read here.

I'm no insider but I do know somebody that I'd consider to be an insider. Majority of the stuff he says has been legit. That's over six years of knowing him.

When the firing rumors started last year he told me Hue wanted the job bad, and had been in contact with UM through Email.

stuart miller's dad hired butch to save this program and he did exactly that. it is clear now based on Corbin's work, shalala was jerking him so she could bring in barry alvarez.
 
I would not underrate Hue Jackson.

He will be in the mix for NFL head coaching positions but I've heard he is interested in returning to college.
 
I dont want a pro coach. I want someone who understands the college game because its much different than the NFL. It needs to be simple and you have so many mismatches you need to coach to the mismatch. Its why Kelly is good in college but not in the pros. They also need to know what its going to take to recruit which like it or not is huge aspect of the college game.
