Don’t look now

For a team #119 in the nation in BA and #96 in ERA we are probably fortunate to have the record we have. I don't think 3 more wins gets this team to a host, we had some UGLY losses/series.
Those statistics you cited mean squat especially in a season like this with mostly conference play.

We're in the top half (6th) in BA and OBP in the #3 RPI conference. And the offense has been getting marginally more productive as the season has progressed.

The only reason we weren't one of the 20 potential host sites is because of conference standing so three more wins would've absolutely made the difference.

We have the most wins in the ACC. Taking care of business mid-week has earned us that designation. Let's complete the midweek sweep tomorrow.
Most wins and second best RPI.

And despite not having a single weekend starter from the opening series still in the rotation and having both setup guys be terrible and then get injured we're 4th in the ACC in ERA.

This season has been frustrating, yes, but nowhere close to a disaster as most posters reactions would seem to inidicate.

Ok buddy, if you say so. This is the worst pitching Hurricane team I have ever seen, and I've followed the team for decades. Add to that the veteran bats we thought might carry us actually regressed and overall this team was a huge disappointment.

But thanks for your input.....strong 5th post, no agenda with you at all in here, right????

Anytime the Pitt and Notre Dame teams are in play for National seeds and the MIAMI HURRICANES are in the hunt as a 3 something is wrong. Recruiting talent at Miami is a simple task, the other parts of the job this staff has failed at get you National seeds, not hoping for a 3.

You're losing badly on facts and analysis and so you pull out this subject-changer.

You're the same guy who claimed that you didn't think this team had the ability to sweep anybody........a week after we swept Duke and a week before we swept Clemson.

No mention of the FSU and Pitt series?

/LMAO that we have "fans" beating there chest because the Miami baseball team beat Duke and Clemson..... oh kid, you are good.

You apparently stopped following the team briefly in 2002 when the ERA was almost a full run worse playing against a weaker schedule.
Did you just reference 19 seasons ago to defend this teams ERA??????????????

:pgdead:
LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so you dismiss the actual poor hitting and pitching #s relative to all of CBB because of the "odd season", but you wanna throw this out????

you could not be more obvious with your agenda if you tried my man, stick to soccer Nick

Swept twice.

But this board isn't exactly the 1927 Yankees of accurate information.
You are correct. That Carolina series just felt like a sweep for some reason.

Either way your brand new profile, white knighting for an average team isn’t a good look. We prefer to keep this board clean.

We're 6th in BA and 4th in ERA in the #3 RPI conference.

Using NCAA stats for an almost all-conference season is nonsense.

You're clueless.

My agenda is to be accurate and call out the posters who get everything wrong but insist on showering us with their consistently inaccurate analysis.

Thank You, he is so obvious in what his agenda is.

His argument for ERA was referencing a teams ERA stat 19 years ago when CBB was using juiced bats and the runs and HRs were through the roof to try to make a "point".
