The sanctions also didn't hurt us enough to prevent us from competing in the Coastal. Even this year, with as bad of a class as it is, we have the number one class in the coastal. 4th in the ACC behind NC State, FSU, and Clemson. Each year we have brought in the most and best talent on our side and still fall short. The sanctions should not be an excuse for that.

You know very well that Golden supporters cling on to that excuse. Don't make it seem like they don't. Worse part, is that they do it in defense of his poor coaching ability. Completely unrelated.

Can you cite or reference a recent example of this? The only places I have seen anyone mention this, is in response to the hysterics who claimed that the NCAA mess had NO effect at all on the program, and that it was all just B.S. by Golden. As if the two ideas could not possible co-exist in the universe. That Golden is a bad HC, AND that the NCAA mess DID have some negative effect on our recruiting.

I haven't seen evidence of these "Goldenites" running around saying that the NCAA mess is the excuse for Golden's poor coaching and finishing 6-7. Id be happy to see those posts if you can direct me to where they are.

THE CLOUD definitely affected recruiting. To deny that is stupid. Unfortunately, these coaches haven't shown that can coach. That aint the cloud.
They can recruit and this class has a lot of talent. That's what drives most of us nuts.

I am a fan of his mother based on her responses to each of her sons' announcements of college selection. I think she's batshyt crazy, but I am a fan.

We played New Orleans Elite in the Adidas 64 when they had Kelly Oubre Jerrell Martin Craig Victor and crew. They were the worst behaved kids we ever played. Their younger team sat behind our bench and talked smack the entire game. Zero discipline. After we beat them they wanted to all go into the parking lot and fight. We played teams from all over and never had any issues. I though wow NO has some issues with their youth and of course the adults were not much better.
