How can you have any confidence in Al Golden's ability to hang onto a premier talent from our own backyard? After everything we've witnessed since he got here and knowing we're freefalling towards rock bottom as a program?

Bruce decommitting will be inevitable when/if Scarlett leaves. It would just be a matter of whether he'd do it right away or wait a while before making it official.

How? Losing Scarlett in 2015 is a much bigger blow. He's Jordan. Bruce is Pippen.

Seems like Bruce is closer with Scarlett than the 2016 group, but who knows. I just assume he'll decommit eventually if Scarlett bolts because we as Miami fans can't have nice things.

Honestly, I agree with you that I prefer scarlet. However, nothing would be more f-ed up than a recruit that says he is committed to you all along the process and at last second says no while you put others (dexter Williams) on back burner for him. That's messed up.... Not sure what else staff can do recruiting wise (besides the obvious - winning). I'd be rooting hard for Dexter to outshine him.... And I usually don't hold anything against players, but playing staff like this would say a lot about him.

If this was Golden's first or 2nd year here I might give him a pass getting played by a recruit but they are vets now.You don't let loose a talent like Dexter just to please Scarlett.They should have kept Dex all along anf if Scarlett walked so be it.Also they have been in touch with Scarlett longer than any other staff how can they not really know his intentions.

Nothing surprises me with this class/situation anymore. One can only hope golden is gone before the season ends. Decent class last year, epic fall this year if scarlett leaves

Yall got to realize, these kids change their minds more than underwear.... nothing is set in stone till Those faxes start rolling in....
 
This situation is changing day to day literally between all of these kids. When I post something on here it's info that I've gotten from a college coach involved and the coaches now all think they know where these kids are going but it's these kids running the show, at least until Wednesday.

Losing a key recruit from South Florida days before signing day under Al Golden is the least surprising thing in the history of recruiting, football, football recruiting and things in general.

For the mopes saying even trade, not even considering Sam Bruce, when you have 2 guys committed for eons and manage to only keep 1 it's not a trade, it's a loss.

Swag 16 with another casualty coming up.

Miami will lead the nation in number of months of commitment that's for sure.

These ******** are killing our program.
 
Hilarious and sad that FSU just comes in and cherry picks whoever they want from our class. Oh, Frazier decommitted, no problem, we'll just grab Jordan Scarlett from Miami's class.

They get Cook, we get stuck with Yearby. They get Scarlett, we get the scraps. It's ******* ridiculous.

Golden is Jimbo's ***** and it stopped being funny a long time ago.

At one point, we had Cronkrite, Dex, Scarlett, and Walton all committed. We will close with just Walton. Same thing will happen with the 2016 class, just watch.
