DJ Dallas's draft prospects...

Mark Walton -- 4th round

I'm assuming DJ will leave after this season. Nothing much to gain by staying -- and a lot to lose.

I see him as a 3d-4th round pick, like the above...

Yea at this rate he will be a 3rd which is good since the NFL doesn't draft RB as high unless they are built like Gurley.

I like DJ as a college player, but his 40 time will absolutely kill him.

DJ does a lot of things well, and has good vision. He should be able to find a home in the NFL, but I don't see superstar in his future. He's the kind of guy that can give you some production as part of a stable of backs. He's good in pass pro, can catch out of the backfield and has contact courage. He may have to make his hay on special teams for a couple of years until he can find a home.

If he runs at least a 4.55 at 5’10.5 215 then that would be a good time at the combine for him

I think hes gonna be one of those guys that gets drafted appropriately, based on NFL metrics, but becomes a player that has a 10 year career and becomes a household name as an NFL player. Not all NFL studs are drafted in the first round

Walton going in the 4th is still mind blowing to me. Homer went in the 6th.

I think DeeJay is a better pro prospect than Homer, and much better than Walton.

If he runs an a faster 40 than most think, something like a low 4.5, then I could see him sneaking into the 3rd, but I think that's unlikely.

I'm guessing he runs in the mid to high 4.5 range, and has a 4th-6th round range.

I think he returns for his senior year, he loves the CANES. Great college RB but pro is a different animal, maybe 5th round.

I don’t think he is faster than 4.6. Homer went in the 6th round at 4.48. Just don’t see DJ going in the 3-4 round .

He is in the mold of the new age running back in which he can catch the ball out of the backfield and can pop a few runs here and there

Homer is a one cut back and was known more for his special teams hence why him being a 6th round pick

I love how our fans constantly claim none of our juniors everrrr have anything to gain by staying senior year, yet every other junior on other teams that stay, some how gain draft stock.
