Dislocated hip / Fractured posterior wall

He should recover.

Bos issue was he didnt get his injury addressed right away. He was such a behemoth he continued to play on that injury.

Crazy that Dr. Andrews might do Tuas surgery too.

Yeah a blood vessel ruptured and was not repaired when it could have been.

The cartilage it supplied died and his hip became bone on bone.

**** shame.

Every college football recruit should be in consensus that this is Saban and Bama leadership's fault. 100k and a new car isn't worth playing for Bud Kilmer!

After Andrew Luck retired this year bc he didn’t have it in him to rehab anymore, plus the history of guys not coming back from this injury, you can bet certain teams have already taken him off the board entirely.

coaches are stupid too. just bc something has never been done before doesn't mean it shouldn't happen to prevent unnecessary harm. football is a risk in itself, but there are things you can do to prevent unnecessary risks such as trying to run a 2 min offense up 4 scores right before half lol. either way, hope this is he end for bama and their recruiting empire and hope tua recovers.

Holy sh*t, EVERYTHING MAKES SENSE NOW ....

THIS IS WHY WE HAVEN’T SEEN LINGARD PLAY.

Manny is playing chess in 2091 while everyone else is playing checkers in 2019.

Well at least he got his University of Alabama education to fall back on

LMAO

Poor kid probably can’t read. They don’t go to class there.

NEVER let people see how weak, emotional, & sad you are in public. Like the great Bill Burr once said, “push that **** down“ don’t ever let it come out until you’re alone in the bathroom.

This has zero..absolutely zero to do with his ankle..literally nothing. Saban not forcing that kid to play. Kid had a title on the line and wanted to be out there...that’s like shaq breaking his wrist his freshman year while he was playing with a torn labrum and y’all blaming a coach for it..now go take 2 laps around the block for that stupid as take
This can not be said with any certainty. Primary injuries can absolutely cause secondary injuries when they aren't allowed to fully heal. When an injured player plays on an unhealed injury he can start to unnaturally favor that muscle/joint and cause stress on other parts of the body that compensate. Leg and knee injuries in particular as they bear such brunt of force and weight. Is it possible the opposite hip from his injured ankle was forced to compensate for the gimpy leg and put undo strain? Im not aware of Tua's injury so maybe it wasnt even the opposite hip, but injuries can 100% lead to more injuries when they aren't allowed to fully heal, Penny Hardaway comes to mind.

LOL, if you think Saban gives a sh*t about what anyone thinks about his coaching decisions.
I think he cares about optics in terms of how it may make HIS program look - only because it might affect his ability to beat out a Georgia or LSU for a prize five star recruit. Thats it

All old Nicky was worried about was hanging a 50-60 spot on MSU cause Bama was 5th in the polls injures be damned.Tua had no business playing against these dregs.Bama could have beat them with their 3rd string QB.

Could've started the backup and only brought Tua in if it was necessary.

People hate extremely competent winners. Saban is a winner. So, they criticize every decision he makes. People hated Jimmy Johnson too. I remember it like it was yesterday. If Saban were at Miami, winning 4 more NCs in however many years, MOFOS would really, really hate him even more.

God speed to Tua. He will recover. It’s football. Players get hurt - just by celebrating. FML. But. It’s not Nick’s fault.

Don’t hate the winner.

CIS would be *****ing if it was the Canes in the playoff talk playing a weak opponent and not running up the score. Just the reality we live in today. Have to impress the selection committee if you are in the hunt.

You are absolutely correct.
And let me take this a step farther. If Tua isn’t playing on an injured ankle (and remember he had surgery to repair his ankle), then maybe he gets away from the pass rush and isn’t hit in the first place. He was playing on a bad wheel which made him more likely to be caught.

a dislocated hip has nothing to do with a ankle..absolutely nothing. That is a impact, high trauma, freak injury..compensation for one injury can lead to another injury but that’s usually is ligament issues and Usually that happens in non contact situations. Kevin Durants situation For example. Tua just got tackled and landed on in a very awkward position and dislocated his hip..it’s extremely rare and usually happens in a sitting type positions like in a car accident..once again it had not to do with it. That’s like have a sprained wrist then dislocating your shoulder. Absolutely non related

... And the earth is flat too.

If it is the Bo Jackson injury, I hope Tua has a good major and grades. His football star future would be over. He would simply get a where are they now YouTube piece.

He’s a communication’s major at Alabama. He probably hasn’t attended a single class since he started.

I seriously wonder if Alabama football players can even read.
