I thought a suspension would probably have been more appropriate. This feels a bit disproportionate, if it was just tweets.

Unfortunate, but you can't call out the staff like he did. This wouldn't fly at Bama, Ohio St., Oklahoma, Texas, USC, etc...
Why should it fly here?
Ezekial Elliot did it. Difference was, Mullins is expebdable.
As if that mattersYou guys have no idea if it was only the tweets

Actually, Meyer made a career out of getting players like Mullins the ball. Albeit it was after a loss, and social media wasn't as prevalent then, Meyer said the seeds of His offensive philosophy came from consoling a crying David Givens who didn't get the ball that day. Not saying Richt should've taken this approach, just saying not all coaches are the same.
His one tweet was basically recapping calling out his coach to their face. Clearly more than a tweet. Was he ever really here?
Gotta be honest, tho: I dont like the move if its solely just for the tweets. Hes a kid man. Suspend him a few games, but axed from the squad? For sone tweets ?
I wonder if theres more going on here we dont know about .
100% there's more that went on behind the curtain. Acting up on social media is usually the kettle blowing off steam, but the water's been on boil for a minute.
