It's not just running. DJ has a high football IQ and does a lot of little things in situations like pass protection.

He will probably go in the mid to late rounds. Staying here another year won't change that.

Imo he will and should go.

Exactly.

Not much more a running back of his caliber can do to "raise their stock"—and a lot more they can do to damage their body, shortening their career span.

Never going to hold it against any RB than will get drafted and has a real solid chance of making a roster in the NFL- both of which appear to be true for DeeJay. That alone usually far outweighs the risk of staying in school. It's obviously the Joe Yearby situations that need to be warned against and avoided.

Cam is going to have a lot to say about that. A great one two punch nonetheless

Should have said have the opportunity to be "the guy". Injury set him back but should be full go next year and ready to compete.

DJ brings a lot of value to a NFL team. Think T Cohen, D Sproles, G Bernard, A Ekeler, D Johnson, etc.

Not saying that Dallas will have such a career, but I wouldn’t be surprised. Smart, versatile backs are becoming very stylish in the NFL. Honestly, as a Bears fan, would love to replace Cohen w Dallas.
