Pretty sure his info specifically was NOT from the Miami side if you're talking about the coaching staff...

He always said his info is from players and that he has no contact with staff.

These kids don't like the sound of their fart and change where they're leaning a lot of times, so tough racket trying to predict that.

He's had whiffs in the past not because he's 'wrong' but because info changes, this is just the first time people paid attention. I knew right then we'd never see the guy again in a few months.

Some people here rely on insiders to word things perfectly to manage expectations because they have no ability to do it themeselves

I believe he mentioned no longer having much contact with the staff (something with the little marathon guy if I recall). The info was coming from the other side. Probably thought he could trust what he heard being in the scene.

With so much money at stake and NIL negotiating games in play, I dont think you can trust anyone on either side. The game has changed.

dude should just come back, no one cares that he was wrong. Ultimately its Mario's fault period.

He said that the staff had given him and his crew the cold shoulder for a while now. This is how utterly stupid our coaching staffs continue to be. Instead of leaving their egos at the door, they always have to be the smartest guys in the room. @1murhurricane was bringing them tremendous prospects that we could’ve had, but staff didn’t take many of them seriously, or passed on them.

Same story as previous staffs that have done the same exact thing. I’ve said it time and time again. The head coach at Miami should have guys like @gogeta, @Menmon, and @1murhurricane on here as talent liaisons that could help them in evaluating and landing some of these kids.

Im good with a staff doing their own evals and offering who they feel are the best fits. Every coach, parent etc thinks their guys should get scholarships, you cant make everyone happy in that regard.

That said, there are people you should always value and respect. You build a network of those types and treat them right, even when the two sides dont completely agree on some of the evals. Respectful honesty is all thats usually required
