As much as I like Mario...and appreciate Kiffins Offensive knowledge...I'd take Aranda over both. Can you imagine pairing him with a good OC (even Lashlee to a lesser extent) and a young and up & coming DC who'll run Aranda's D to a T??...Man o Man we'd run amok on the ACC...

This is how most CIS posters evaluate coaches, “he won 10 games his first or second year!!” Let’s ignore the fact that their programs went right back to being *** water 💦 or MID..it’s dudes on here that would’ve sliced Mario’s head off for Aranda 😂😂😂

We would 100% we screwed without Beck. Part of Miamis issues the past 20 years has been lack of consistent QB play. Ward was insane Beck will be very good and Coleman is the future but another portal kid will be starting a year from now. But without Beck who is playing? Judd Anderson? Nickel? We would get rolled against good teams

Exactly... and there's no reason for this to not be understood. I get it, we're not the only team that would be in a bad situation but we're talking about us right now. Our back up situation is Emory, Judd(never played a down of college football), Nickel(TF)(Never played a down of college football)...If anyone thinks our season wouldn't be a complete disaster without Beck then.... yeah, that would be called DELUSIONAL.

We had the first pick in the draft last year and lost twice and could have lost more. Cal? I’m aware our defense is gonna be improved. And the offense will take a step back. But with beck and health we win 10 games

Who cares? Without good players who are currently on your roster, you’d be bad? **** me, you don’t say???

Obviously he was given bad information.

His mistake was listening to whatever they were telling him from the Miami side.

They're always going to believe they can get a recruit even if they can't.

If you're going to take this angle then there's literally no point in debating anything on this site other than recruiting. Some ppl feel like we're still going to be a good team even if Beck goes down(God forbid).... they have a right to think that and I have a right to question why they think that.....

I guess I misunderstood, if so, my bad. If people think this team is contenting for anything significant if Beck gets hurt, they need to be institutionalized.

But news flash, there are a lot of really good teams who are in really big trouble if their starting QB gets hurt. Anyone think taint wins a natty if Will Howard gets hurt in week 1?

I’m operating under the assumption Beck is good to go. If we hear things like “limited” or “eased” on the first day of camp, pack it up. But I’m assuming he’s good, and if he is, we’re gonna be good.

I recommend the board lists the approved topics to discuss and when. We will also need to breakdown acceptable perspectives and allotted word limit.

From all reports and Mario himself, Beck is healthy and good to go. So yes, I agree that should be the focus instead of debating a hypothetical we all don't want to happen lol

But on another note... the difference with ohio st. Is that, I personally believe that even without Howard, they still would have made the playoffs. They won 8 games where he threw for less than 250yrds.

Just for comparison, Cam Ward only had ONE game where he threw for less than 250(208 vs fsu). (Not counting the bowl game since he only played 1 half).
