DEPTCH CHART/LINE UP CHANGES

Kinchens showed more in one game vs Bama than Hall in 4 years. Ivey needs to be 3rd string to walk on. Scaife only needs to play in blowouts. Cheney needs to be featured in this offense.
And in two years we'll be saying Kinchens is a JAG. This has been the deal for 15 years. We like the freshmen and then hate them when they're juniors.

Where was all the tight man coverage TRob was supposed to bring?

its the scheme. As long as Danny miaz plays this sleepy soft zone on the backend, we’ll continue to struggle bc guys like hall and Ivey are horrible in this scheme. Can Ivey be more effective pressing? I’ll wager he’d be better than the scheme that he’s being asked to play.

if Danny is going to keep this scheme, bench hall and Ivey bc they’re useless. Put in KK and play blades more or someone else. Or…..change the defense and play more aggressive in the back 7. What more do you have to lose? We’re gonna get gashed all year if he doesn’t change things.

Nah Hall has been a JAG from day one and so has the majority of our veterans on both sides of the ball. Kinchens Avantae and James are playmakers, they are going to make a name for themselves regardless of our overall team success.

Scaife should not be in the 2 deep.
70 played way better than him

Remove Hall, McCloud, Ivey, Carter, Ford, Scaife, and Cam completely off the depth chart. Leonard Taylor is better than Ford and Miller combined but I would start him at DE with Nesta and JHH at DT. And I’m starting Stevenson next to Bolden at safety rotating him at CB… but I know that’s too complex for Manny to do.

Hall made some splash plays his Freshman year to.

I’ve never seen UM players get more rewarded for subpar play than Ivey, hall, Jennings, and McCloud. It’s time to move on from all 4 of them and demote them to a situational backup role at best. They’ve had numerous chances after the last 4-5 years and they’re still JAG’s on a good day. Enough is enough.

ill let you in on a secret. Because of manny’s awful recruiting at DE and LB (his position), we don’t have much behind those guys. We have scary bad depth in those positions.

no Harris
No Scaife
No McCloud
No Steed
No Jennings
No Hall
No Ivey
No Gaynor
Very little Carter
Very little Nesta
Was Nesta that bad? Genuinely asking, i agree with the rest outside of completely removing Harris (he should be like 3rd string).
