David Yost

It’s almost becoming fact though. Wisconsin, BC, & Pitt straight up bullied us with fat white boys.

Coaching, the evaluations, and the Miami program has nothing to do with it???

It’s our coaching not the players

It’s interesting that they don’t seem to be getting “punked” when they attend other programs

Richt would never hire someone like Yost who doesn't fit his ultra conservative, 'find a wall to run into' offense.

It sounds like he won't have a choice. James' comments after the BC game makes me think he'll make Richt make the changes.

Blake James??....Lol...this ain't his call....When Paul D'Mare & other BOT members are Livid...it's waayyyy more than Blake.....Blake needs to get Frenck another Cup of Expresso and stfu....

Speaking of coming together for the greater good of the program......What ever happened to the Celibate 7? Remember those guys from back in 2000? It worked last time so maybe those guys can do it again. I assume @LustNCanes wasn't a part of that club.

@FrancisSaywer , no I wasn’t, I was on grassy though, as CaneLust, but I was too much of a ***** to be in that club. I was in my late 20’s at the time.. how time waits for no one. Jesus, let’s win a National Title!!! Hopefully Soon...

What were these comments?

I'm summarizing, but it was along the lines of "everyone sees that there's a problem out there and that he has confidence that the coaching staff knows that changes need to be made." I'll try to find the exact quote.

Manny Navarro, who covers the Canes for the Athletic, also said that he's hearing behind the scenes that the pressure is there for there to be changes on the offensive staff. So I'm optimistic that this won't just blow over.

Sounds to me like they're going to make no changes to the coaching staff. "Changes" probably refer to the current coaching staff changing up some of what they do in practice, or maybe adding a play or two to the playbook.

Same thing happened during the Golden years. The only "changes" we got were that Golden and D'Onofrio visited the Dallas Cowboys one offseason, and then they came back and ran exactly the same garbage defense as before.

I expect no changes.

This Yost guy’s offense looks super fluid and fun. So no way we are getting him. Lol

I’m a Utah State season ticket holder so I’ve watched him a lot and he’s really really good.

His pace is crazy. I think they’ve scored something like 17 touchdowns in 1:00 or less this year

They had 52 points and 550 yards in the first half last week. Their QB is legit too.

His offense is simple for the offense to learn and he is basically in 11 personnel all the time but he does a ton of stuff out of that grouping and the defense has a hard time knowing what’s coming. He creates mismatches and makes teams defend the entire field. He believes attacking vertically is how to set up the rest of the offense. He uses motion and the slot guys really well. Thomas would go crazy in his offense.

Would love us to land him. He makes about Jon Richt money so he’s our for the taking probably.
He makes Jon RIcht money and lives in Logan,Utah

Who does Utah St play to think the offense would work against ACC defenses week in and week out? Fuente had big numbers at Memphis and it hasn’t really translated over. Yost was the OC at Mizzou when they had Chase Daniel and Blaine Gabbert and they could never beat TX or OU and Chase Daniel was one of the best college QBs I have seen.

With Diaz running the D the way he is every year, give us any OC that takes full advantage of our speed and athleticism and we’re off to the races.
Not to mention what this would do for recruiting...
