I don't get this, sounds like he is damaged goods. How is this guy going to help us?

One of our starting DEs last year had multiple knee injuries and alligator arms. If the new can give any sort of contribution its definitely a positive

I just read a couple of articles on-line that said he "retired" from football due to recurring foot problems, has he been miraculously healed?

The deal is he had foot surgery and needed a year to heal so he sat out 2013. It looks like he has one year of eligibility left. You can be sure UM has checked to see if that foot has healed properly. If he has healed he is a welcome edition .Kid can play. So its possible.

**** if this is true then UM will need a Podiatrist on staff Full time to care this guy and Juco DT/DE transfer Julio Derosier (with his two broken feet). Man the trainers better be on their game this year.

Go Canes!

I don't understand you say he will need to sit out the 2013 season in order to play 2014 or he sat out last season and will be good to go in the fall?

He sat out in 2012 or will sit out in 2013??

Sounds like it might've been a way out of Wisc. Guess we'll find out soon enough

Totally agree! If this is our 'Lone Ranger', Golden appears to have done it again.
Does he ever sleep? Whatta find ... Whatta Coach.

Al gets it!

Kid started every Big Ten game as a freshman. Took a medical red-shirt & graduated last month. Eligible this season.

Holy **** if true.

Golden realizes the importance of winning big this season. He is doing every single thing he can to ensure this team avoids the problems it had last season, especially defensively. He understands that if we win big this season, this program is going to take off.

Love it. Kid brings a winning attitude and toughness to the table, plus maybe he will be the 1 guy on the team that plays well in the cold. Worst case scenario, he's gone in a year. No risk, high reward because he can be a real upgrade over Shayon.
