Damien Alford, WR, McArthur

I was going to make mention of him in the other WR threads.

This is the time of the year - before early signing period, not after - to get in on these types of late risers. We'll see, but he's getting P5 offers now. Interesting kid on film.

Would like to see the staff take a look at him, 6-5 if he can move and catch we could use that for sure. But think our staff already has 3/4 players locked in as targets for the 2(?) spots we have left at WR.

That depends on how they see Restrepo too.

You need variety in the WR room. He fills the Langham roll. Big body kid. Good hands. Can high point the ball. He would be good on slants and fades especially in the red zone or on 3rd down. The downside is he lacks twitch and doesn't explode out of his breaks so he has a limited route tree. Plus, better CBs will stay in his hip pocket so he has to learn how to use his body to box guys out. Lacks straight-line speed so he's not a deep threat. He should be a good blocker on wr screens. He has to be good at catching the ball in traffic because he will struggle separating from above average dbs.
