Dalvin Cook: Meeting With Golden Helped Miami (Rivals)

People try to compare MT's want to leave town last year to Cook this year, but we have a lot more working in our favor with Cook:

1. No more looming NCAA sanctions
2. Yearby (his best friend) and Darling in his ear
3. Roland Smith is very pro Miami and pro Golden
4. He's taking his last official visit to the U!

I like our chances!
plus his brother

true!

when is he supposed to announce after his state championship game or at the under armour game

Not going to hold my breath here. As many have already pointed out, this kid has been interested in pretty much EVERY OTHER program than us during the year. What that seems to imply is that he's looking to get out of town. I hope we can sway him as I think he will be a great player and we desperately need playmakers on this team, but I still think this is a longshot for us.

Or it could be that he can now play in a bowl game and not sit around hoping that the ncaa crap will leave.

Still hearing and think its going to be FSU

UF is going with the program changer pitch as well and for whatever its worth he still hasnt decomitted.

This would be Golden's biggest get yet. Could have an unreal offense next year barring QB play being ok

In the immortal words of Beavis and Butthead, CMB was the "Super Suck group."

This class has the potential to be the best in the country if we land Cook and some of the other remaining targets.

Isn't Burnett (freshman on the b-ball team) his brother?

No.

You guys say this every year. Last year was the best ever as well and the year before.

I don't think anyone said that last year.

I think people are saying this class looks elite.

no one said that **** last year.

They did but w/e its still not the best class this year.

If we flip this beast, I will never criticize anything coach Golden does ever again, even if it means putting up with Dorito's sorry *** for another year.

I have heard nothing of the sort here on the boards. They are buddies in the sense they are football/HS classmates. I was always under the impression that they were not best buds.
